I started using Madison Reed to touch up my gray roots during the pandemic and have been using since. The product is packaged nicely and comes with the hair color, barrier cream to avoid getting dye on your skin, a small shampoo and conditioner, and gloves. Instructions are easy to follow. I absolutely love the natural color that comes from using this kit, as well as a very nice shine to my hair. I only use this on my roots. I do find that I often have to apply the color twice, even when following the directions and leaving it on for the recommended amount of time, as there are always a few grays that didn’t take the color well the first time. I also find that my grays start to reappear by the third week and by the fourth week, I usually need another touch up. Overall, for me it’s worth it. It’s quick, easy, and looks gorgeous!

I'm thrilled to share my exceptional experience with Madison Reed hair color products. As someone who's been disappointed with many at-home hair coloring kits in the past, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and results of Madison Reed and who has $250 to go the stylist today. Food is so expensive, gas, insurance - this is such a great way to save some money and not scrimp on your style or exceptional good looks. My hair had become a lackluster brown color due to years of sun exposure and regular dye jobs that left it dry and brittle. I was desperate for a change and sought a product that would not only enhance my natural shade but also nourish my locks. I chose the "Natural Blond" shade from Madison Reed's wide range of options, which promised to deliver a vibrant, multi-dimensional color with 76% less ammonia than leading brands. The kit included everything I needed: the color developer, color cream, shampoo, and conditioner. The application process was surprisingly easy! The instructions were clear, and the product went on smoothly, leaving no residue or stickiness behind. The smell was mild and didn't irritate my eyes or skin like some other hair dyes have in the past. After 30 minutes of processing time (exactly as instructed), I rinsed my hair and was blown away by the stunning color that emerged! My hair was transformed into a beautiful, deep rich blond with warm undertones that looked incredibly natural.
