Due to recent aerial predations, I purchased this enclosure and henhouse combo to add an additional layer of protection to what’s currently left of our flock. Overall I’m extremely happy I did. For the price you get good value, space, ease and sturdiness. The henhouse itself is quite welcome as it has helped our five hens manage their egg laying with far fewer squabbles by offering an alternative to the main coop. Another nice thing about it is that I was able to put it together by myself quite easily. While originally we had been sent a henhouse with a split in the front panel of wood (see attached photo) all it took was one quick email to the company and they kindly shipped a replacement henhouse the very next week, no hassle or haggling. (Excellent customer service!) Moving on to the enclosure, while it did prove a two-person job, we were pleased that all the parts fit well and each of the pre-drilled holes were well made and placed. We had zero issues with building the structure. Trimming and zip tying the chicken wire will always be the more time consuming and challenging task, but again, with two people it makes a world of difference. It took us a total of four hours start to finish (with a couple breaks) to build both henhouse and enclosure. For reference, we found the chicken wire to be the same if not slightly better quality than anything we’ve gotten from the farm supply or our local home improvement stores in the past. I also feel compelled to point out because of some of the other reviews that we’ve likely received an updated design because we didn’t have any of the gate door gaping that others have commented on. All in all I’m happy with this purchase and happy with the company. I’d buy from them again.

Overall this is a really decent chicken coop. The pros, it’s large and the chicken wire is real metal and there is more there than you need! It does allow for about 7” to go into the ground if you follow directions and the frame comes with ground spikes to hold it in. The tarp is flimsy at best and ripped the first windy day we had. The coop isn’t bad decent sized, I have 8 chickens we will see if it’s large enough. The coop is not very thick wood and the bottom isn’t held into place. Might need to make it more insulated for winter time.

Quality is great and super easy to build. I wish there was an option to get hardware fabric wire mesh, instead of the light weight chicken wire that all of these coops come with. I threw away the plastic zip ties and used stainless steel zip ties so that the wire attachment would last for years instead of a few months as the normal zip ties rot in the sun and weather. Just a suggestion for others, if your going to do it, just do it once and make it last!!

Wish I could Give it a zero, the little coop showed up all broken in the box. Tried to return that but Amazon won’t let you without first returning the run, which we’ve already built trying to get our ducks outside. The company for the little coop is so slow to respond it’s absolutely terrible service. I wish I could get my money back but unless I want To disassemble the metal run then I cant. Don’t purchase it because the little coop is super weak and junk wood. It’s not worth the money. The run is nice and was easy to put together.

I read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing this item and figured I would roll the dice. My chickens were growing too quickly and I needed to get them outside. Sadly the gingerbread houses you get from Walmart are more sturdy than this thing. Holes did not line up with the hinges, resulting in me having to drill new holes. I was going to move the hinges to line up with the pre drilled holes, unfortunately the screws just spun in place and then pulled right out OR just pulled right out. The posts to prop the roof of the coop and the nesting boxes were not positioned correctly either. Then it quite literally started falling apart within a month, if that. The only thing good that came out of this purchase was the run. However, even the run had some messed up pre drilled holes. At first I thought the sun had baked my brain while trying to put this thing together this summer, then I realized the support beams did not line up with the structure. So, I got to experience drilling new holes through metal. After many, many, MANY sentence enhancers the whole turd was built and my chickens could get outside and enjoy the grass, sun, and bugs. This got two stars ONLY because the run is still in service, but I still had to "customize" the darn thing for it to be put together. IF YOU ARE NOT HANDY I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hunk of junk. I recommend finding something that might be a little more money, but will actually last. If you are handy you can probably build your own Chicken Palace.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars. However, the little house came with the back wall broken. The Wire on it is pretty cheesy. It's super thin and doesn't form well. If you've ever worked a chicken wire, you understand what I mean. If this was for full size chickens, it definitely would not have worked. Luckily we are only using it for our babies. So my husband says the little house will work fine for a while. And we're going to reinforce the bottom half with some stronger wire. Because all you have to do is lean on it and. It kinda comes apart. But it was super easy to put together, maybe with some stronger wire. And a little better shipping or something. It would be worth the price we paid.

Out all the kits, this is by far the best. Incredibly sturdy with additional center poles and corn braces and ground anchor ties. There is nothing iv found like ot for the price. Good quality steel, the chicken wire is rust proof amd by the end there is plenty extra. Very pleased, will be buying more. They are hard to come in this hight. My only note, is measure first because the width was less than inch off, but that inch is everything for a perfect finish.
