    • Initial impression; versatile and well designed product at a remarkable price point
I have not gotten a chance to use this robot vacuum a great deal but here are my thoughts thus far: It is thoughtfully designed; there are some design choices, like the mopping pad and plate, that I appreciate. When mopping I can literally hear the additional strain of the mopping pad pressure and the significant swipe of friction against my rough ceramic tile. This machine is a significantly better mopper than my new(ish) k700, although I am fond of that machine as well.(!) The mopping/water amount selection seems to work very well. This machine will both wet your floors sufficiently, if you wish, and apply pressure to the mopping pad. The machine feels durable. The wheels are large and give it nice maneuverability. Despite a claim made within an appreciated but incorrect review of this vacuum on Youtube - you can run both mopping and vacuuming simultaneously. The dust disposal unit works very well. Folks, this is no fake review. This vacuum seems like the real deal at a very fair price. When it was pointed out to the company that people could not find their warranty information (the one star reviewer who posted on both listings should perhaps reconsider their reviews), the company quickly stepped up with contact information and even launched a basic web presence.(!) Time may prove longevity issues with these machines; but why assume that? If a company releases a quality product at a fair price, I support them, and this appears to be a very solid and versatile vacuum. You do not need to spend $1000 for a fully featured, capable robot vacuum. I am looking forward to more ways to support and accessorize these individual machines, and to seeing what kind of future robotic products this company may develop. Update: The Lidar system in this robot seems very capable and strong. It is a little hesitant and wayward at first, but it seems to keep honing its maps. I'm not sure but it is working extremely well. I absolutely love this machine thus far. I was very concerned to take the plunge at this price point. I strongly recommend this robo vac. If it holds up, this will likely prove one of the best purchases I have made in the last 10 years. As good as this thing is performing, I will use it all the time. Thank-you Lydsto!     • Best thing I've bought in a long time

I have owned maybe 3 other robot vacuums in the past and we honestly rarely ran them because they would get stuck everywhere, they would bump into everything to get to where it's going and the suction was just ok. Don't get me wrong we still loved using them after company comes over because it helped with feeling like we needed to clean immediately after. So we bought this after a ton of research because it had Lidar. If you don't know what lidar is, it's a game changer. My last robot was supposed to build a map of the house but it was in efficient as it just stored barriers or whatever it hit. Lidar, however, uses Lazers in a 360 formation around the bot to checj for walls and furniture. Seriously, this bumps into way less things than anything we've ever had in the past. When it got stuck, and it will, you have this really cool feature that will allow you to draw a barrier on the map in the app and it will not go there anymore. For example, we have a rug in our kitchen with tassels on it that my wife bought just recently. It was terrible because this thing always caught onto the tassels. Well I drew a box around it and it never got caught there again. I let it run many times before I caught every area it got stuck to and drew borders around each area. Also word of advice, if it gets stuck just pull it away and let it find home on its own or let it continue cleaning. Don't move it too far from its last area. My last robot would try to find home and it could take an hour or two looking everywhere, going in rooms it shouldn't have to in order to find home. This one could be at the farthest corner of my house, under a bed and it will find home in 3 minutes. It's incredibly efficient, this means less power trying to find home and more power cleaning. My only real complaint is it doesn't connect to Google Assistant. I hope they add this in the future. This was amazing. We called our last one Rosie and just told Google to turn on Rosie and we can't do that with this one. Voice commands are so efficient honestly so I hope they add this. Please add this. It's the only missing feature I absolutely want. I hate opening an app or pressing the on button on the robot. I'm lazy. Lol first world problems right? Anyways I still give it five stars because it has checked all boxes except for that one and it's not that big of a deal, but if they add it I bet they will have even more happy customers. Oh and I have a cat and it picks up a ton of hair. The dust bin actually gets filled monthly and that's running maybe once a week. This thing sucks, literally. It picks up way more than all of my other robots combined and that's on the low setting. It has a high power setting but it's a lot of work to turn it on(I claim but remember I'm kinda lazy). The high power setting is loud and speaking of loud, do not run this at night. The low power setting is great for at night but the dust bin suction will scare you and your mother down the street. My children plug their ears. It's super efficient though. Just run it during the day and you won't have to feel like you need a gun by your bed because of this thing. ... show more

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Amazing robotic vacuum! Setup was super easy. It comes with a 2 page quick setup guide that leads you through steps. The 3 step helps you install the mobile app which walks you through connecting the wifi, connecting to the robotic vacuum and then installing the firmware update. After that setup, the intuitive app allows you to pick a mapping mode to map out the entire house. You can watch the location of the vacuum at all times via the app (I show this in a couple of the pictures). The charge is amazing! On one charge it completed the mapping and vacuuming of my entire house. Other robotic vacs require multiple charges. This vacuum does an excellent job of mapping each room. It is very quiet...it didn’t even scare the cat! This vacuum is very gentle when it bumps into walls or furniture. It never got stuck once meaning it does an awesome job of mapping and detecting the objects it is working around. It has stair detection that works perfectly. The best part is when it has completed the cleaning it returns to the base to charge and empty the dirt bin. To top it all off the robotic vacuum speaks commands of what it is doing like connecting, starting cleaning or charging. So you get that audible confirmation in addition to the alerts from the app. Great looking appliance also. I highly recommend this Lydsto robotic vacuum.
