I am so amazed by this product. I had been using it after my workouts at the gym(3 times a week). I had noticed how my muscles are relaxed and not sored with each use. My lower back pain goes away as well. My husband was impressed with the quality of the design.,very well made. I love not getting my hair sweaty( a con of the traditional sauna). Very convenient to be able to use your hands thru the zipper openings if needed to reach the TV remote or cellphone. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.     • One of the best forms of portable infrared sauna!
I have tested several infrared saunas here on Vine. The others that I have tested, were like a tent with a hole for your head. They weren’t convenient to set up, sometimes they included a chair to sit in. Sometimes they didn’t. They weren’t particularly comfortable. they weren’t easy to clean. And it was pretty much of a pain to break them down and pack them up and build them up again. Every time I wanted to use the sauna, which was pretty much every day. Leaving it out and assembled was not an option for me. So, having a flat sauna, that I can lay on the floor or on my bed, was a real plus! It comes with a carrying case, and because it’s basically a square it is easy to set up and easy to put back away. Infrared saunas use lower heat than traditional saunas. I knew 140° would be too low for me so I started out at 150°. After 50 minutes I had barely broken a sweat so I upped it to 160° and set it for an hour. I started sweating within minutes, and was really impressed at how much sweat I released within the hour. Clean up was a breeze. They tell you not to use any alcohol-based cleaners on it so I filled up a spray bottle with water, and about a half a teaspoon of dish soap, and it cleaned up easily. It easily packed up and went back into the carrying case. Now, for the things I didn’t like about it. They have front zippers on both sides meant for your hands. But the handle for the zipper is only on the outside! Which makes it pretty useless when your hands are inside. Don’t get me wrong, you can just slip your arms up over the shoulder opening and unzip it, but I felt that was poorly thought out. The zipper that goes around the entire unit also is only on one side. And the ring is very small. So unless you zip it about to your waist height, it’s a pain in the butt to try to zip it closed and it doesn’t zip that easily. They should have some sort of a string or some sort of cord that you can reach it from further away. That’s what I’ll end up doing for it. Again, it’s something that they should’ve thought of. But the thing that annoyed me the most, was the placement of the plug and the remote. The remote in the plug are on one connection, it’s two cords, one cord you plug into the wall. The other cord has your remote. They put the piece that you have to plug into at the foot of the unit! And they tell you, you can’t put the remote on the blanket itself. What a pain in the butt! If I need to reach the remote, I have to unzip and get completely out in order to do so. That attachment should’ve been at the top of the unit close to the head and probably on the right side since most people are right handed. As far is not being able to put the remote on any surface that is heat resistant? I simply solved it by getting a silicone pot holder and I use that to set the remote on. All in all, I really like the unit, at the right temperature. It works great and everybody’s different about what temperatures they need for their body. I can keep this in my bedroom closet and it will take up very little space and it takes literally a minute to set it up and get going for a sauna treatment. I felt the price was very reasonable. I got this sauna blanket to see if it would help reduce my back pain. It heats up pretty quickly and is easy to use. It comes with 5 bags that enhance sweating and make clean up easy. You can purchase more bags if you like to use the bags. The sauna itself can be sprayed with a gentle cleanser and completely wiped down as well. You can easily unzip the side of the sauna to access the entire interior for cleaning. I wanted to warm my body and back, and see if the infrared heat would ease my back pain (it does). I used a folded in half twin sized flat sheet (100% cotton) to line the inside of the bag. I’ve used it a couple times so far. The small pillow is helpful in keeping my head/neck comfortably aligned. The controller is easy to use, although I wish the cord (the one that plugs into the wall) as well as the cord that connects to the controller were both longer. The sauna bag itself is large and heavy (not overly heavy but it feels heavy duty in a good way). I’m a small woman, 5’4” tall and I wear size 2 or XS. I could easily fit 2 of me in the sauna. There’s lots of extra room lengthwise too - at least an extra 12” of length. There are 2 openings for your arms, but I chose to keep my arms inside the sauna so I didn’t lose heat through my arms. There’s a cut out at the top for your neck, and it makes it fit more comfortably while you are using it. Feels good, but I haven’t used to above 105*F because it’s still summer and I just am not into overheating. When the weather’s cold it might feel better to turn the temperature up on this, get thoroughly warmed up and then do a cold plunge. I did that when I lived in Japan: went to Onsen during winter and would immerse into an icy stream after getting thoroughly heated up. Very refreshing and relaxing. This also comes with a reusable heating pad. It can be heated in hot water or a microwave oven. Alternatively, you can place it in the freezer and use it as a cold pack. The sauna comes with a fabric storage bag which makes it convenient to store. You have to fold the unit up carefully and tightly to get it to fit properly into the bag. Overall, it’s a good sauna. I love using this thing! I do it almost everyday but I have to stay in longer than the suggested time since it takes a while to warm up and it’s not that hot.

I was looking for a sauna blanket that gets hot enough. Others will stop around 140’s . This one got to 168 F. You can adjust the temp and it has a timer. It does take awhile to heat up. It was 168 after 15-20 minutes. They do take some time to heat so preheating it might help. The width and length are good enough to move your legs around. I am 5’8” and I could lay flat and it would cover my head. I wish they would have mad it easier to open the arm holes. The zipper is on the out side. And makes it awkward to open from the inside. ... show more
