Gorgeous results. Here's a hint: Read, understand, and follow the instructions as printed on the jar to achieve the results as printed on the jar. My uncolored or treated fine thin shoulder-length hair is a medium-dark brown w/ a natural white patch about the circumference of the lid to the product. Using non-latex (kind of like surgical) gloves to apply the color I then briefly massaged the hair + product, waited, then rinsed and shampooed all my hair w/ baby shampoo. The result was as expected as can be read in the instructions on the label of the product. Gorgeous results. My 'Cruella DeVille' white stripe is now luscious with color and now I am not so insecure about the white stripe. Read, understand and follow the instructions as printed on the jar. If I could give negative stars I would. Wish I could get a refund cause this is the worst hair dye I've ever bought. Didn't take to half my hair and the other half have thus green tint to it. When I got it in the mail I thought this is bluer then the picture but we'll try it. It was supposed to be a purple pastel. It's not fyi the parts that did take came out super blue and the parts that didn't came out green. I only got this to try in place of all the redundant colors from manic panic and I totally regret it. I just ordered a cover up color from manic to try and fix this horrible horrible dye job. 😫 ... show more

I got pastel moonstone that looked like a purple/ blue pastel. the dye it's self looked bluer than it should be and on my hair it looks like a faded version of a more vivid blue. I started with bleached hair with a slight pastel purple tint. the coverage from one dye is a bit lacking. The color isn't bad but it's not as advertised and needs multiple dyes. ... show more

I had used one other dye from this brand, and I was so excited to find a brand that actually works. This wasn't the case for the Moonstone hue. It did not attach to my hair at all and it turned the base of my hair brown when it was bleached. It also didn't come out periwinkle-ish, it came out blue, which I saw on the chart that if it's lighter blonde, it would turn blue. Which I'm not upset about. So I thought the moonstone color was supposed to be more of a periwinkle according to the picture. But it’s definitely more of a pastel turquoise. I’m not mad about it. I originally wanted a turquoise color but then fell in love with the periwinkle lol But other than the color being drastically different, there isn’t any harsh smell to it and it applies really nicely and doesn’t stain everything in its path. ... show more
