    • I LOVE this shower head
I LOVE this shower head. Where do I even begin? As a preface, this product was purchased for intended use in a house without kids; it really does make the shower more fun! 1. The overall quality and design of this shower head is good. It is made out of plastic, so it doesn't have the heavy duty feel of stainless steel, but even without the extra luxury of the metal, the shower head itself feels solid, is good quality, but is also light weight, which makes installation easy. The hose attached to the detachable portion feels extra long, so even for a somewhat larger shower it reaches just fine. There is some mild pooling of water in the bottom of the shower head once you turn off the water, but where I live the water is good-quality and this isn't a problem for me, and I doubt it would be for most people. 2. The lights- There is an array of light with a gentle flow between colors (no disco strobe lights here!) that changes from red-orange-yellow-green-blue-purple-pink. The only thing I have noticed in my shower is that often the pressure in the shower isn't enough to power the changes beyond green, but I think that if I altered my water pressure or changed the flow ring that it would fix the issue. As it is, the light is still bright enough to shower in the dark, and I am fine with just the red-orange-green flow. 3. Water Flow Options- I really like the fact that not only do you get one multi-setting shower head, but you get two. For days when you want to really soak there is the option to have both heads running. The downside to this is that if you are showering in the dark it does dim the LED lights significantly as you lose pressure between the two, but as far as enough pressure to shower you have more than enough. I also like that I can change the setting on each shower head depending on my mood and how much water flow I need. Overall, I love this product and I am happy I bought it. The option to have lights in my shower was too good to resist, and I'm happy I didn't settle for a plainer option without the lights! ... show more

I just received my new showerhead, and it looks to be very well put together, especially for this price, or anywhere near it. It looks to be very functional, and fine replacement for your standard showerhead. As the other reviews have had no issues with the water flow or patterns, I can only assume there are no issues with the plumbing portion of this product. As for the lights, I'm totally sold on that, think it's just a very trippy, cute product for entertainment. I've had a little experience with a light-up kitchen faucet, which I also loved, but the only issue was the lights stop working after a month or two. It's not really a defect, more of a fact that the minerals in the water tend to stop the water turbine that keeps the lights working tend to get calcium deposits, like your coffee maker might get, and the lights stop. I've even tried using vinegar to disolve the calcium, to limited effect. I might try CLR which is mostly Boric acid next time, might be more effective than just vinegar. This unit has a 1 year warranty...I'm interested to see how long the lights last, and if the warranty will cover the lights if and when this should happen. That said, I still bought this, understanding the lights may fail after just months. ... show more

    • Light glitch but easy connect!
The media could not be loaded. Worked until I turned the water off and back on.. then the lights from the detached hose shower head started glitching and flickering . Lights not as bright as the other. Some don’t even turn on sometimes. Attaching video so you can see. Don’t know if I should return and go for another or just stick it out with this one since I already connected and tested it. BUT I will say the quality otherwise seems safe and good. No scratches or package damage. Super duper easy to put up to where instructions weren’t necessary but they were helpful. ... show more

    • Beautiful lights & general appearance, lightweight material
Unless something breaks or goes wrong with this showerhead and handheld shower, it deserves a top rating because it installed easily, doesn't leak, & does beautiful led color changes. It looks expensive. When I adjust it to have water coming out of both heads at the same time, the lights are kind of dim, but when I have the water coming out of just one or the other, they're bright. I dim my general bathroom lighting to get the most magical effect. The material is surprisingly light, so I'm nervous about durability. The instructions said that if the bracket that holds the handheld wand won't tighten via its Phillips head screw into the position you need, you can call for a replacement part, but I just removed the screw, picked a couple of burrs off the molded plastic, and reattached it. Then the screw tightened just barely enough to hold the position I need. I wish it was a firmer connection, but if it doesn't hold I still have the instructions with contact info. Since the bracket will eternally need to be in its current position, I suppose I could drip a little super glue into the joint. ... show more

    • Well it DOES light up...
But thats the only good thing i can say about it. Its very cheaply made with fragile plastic painted to look chrome. The part that screws against the shower head spliter is so delicate that before even applying real pressure my pliers had dented it the part that holds the hand held hose on doesnt stay in place. It spins freely and unless i lean the shower massager head against the back of the shower, it spins forward and drops the shower massager. As it is it barely fits the massager handle in its hole. Actually it doesnt even, i have the hose connector sitting in the "grip" because it doesn't actually fit the attachment. Yes it lights up but 90% of the time the color is red. Dont believe what it says about changing colors because its rare. Buy something of better quality. You could put a water proof color changing light in the shower and get a better result. It doesnt really have different settings. It has 2 spray or "massage". If you try to use both heads at the same time hardly any water comes out and the lights wont work. As soon as i can get this off i will be returning it and getting a quality shower head. ... show more
