Used this as an alternative to wood as a bathroom door, which vinyl is great for!! Was a bit nervous when a tall skinny box showed up, was not expecting to have to assemble the door. However it was quick and easy to do and looks great in the bathroom!! One thing is the instructions are lacking the drill bit sizes needed and lucky for me I needed to adjust from the first hole I drilled. Otherwise for day 1 I am happpy so far!!

My background is in home remodeling and there have been challenging projects that took time, planning and thought to complete. This installation, unfortunately, needlessly took all. I am all for economic ways to get a good look without the higher cost. Typically you sacrifice service, material quality, or ease of use. The instructions leave out vital information and seem to be incomplete. The pictures are not entirely helpful anf their wording is vague at best. I performed the same task over and over because the instructions would leave out a step and then require something different. To top it all off one of the boards chipped because the rubber mallet tapped at a slightly off angle. It was a big chip! In conclusion you are better off spending an extra $150 for a completed door and just mount it yourself. The only reason they received three stars is because it did turn out okay. Not great, but not terrible.

Took me about 3 hours in all to get it installed. I did not use a mounting plate, but if I had to do it again I would use a mounting plate. YouTube has this company's videos that you can watch and combine with the single sheet of paper instructions, are barely sufficient. Getting the rail installed wasn't difficult, but make sure you either have serious wall anchors or get a mounting plate. I went to HD and got 1/4" 3.5" long machine screws to go along with the Cobra Driller Toggle wall anchor, and mounted the rail. Putting together the door was a pain and this is where the video and the instructions fell short. Nowhere does the instructions say which side is the top and which is the bottom. I had the door mostly put together when I realized this. Imagine going to the bathroom and realizing the person before you used all the TP, that's how I felt. The PVC is lightweight and once put together it was pretty nice from afar. However the devil is in the details and that's exactly where this company's instructions lacked in spades. Overall I'm pretty happy with my handiwork no thanks to this company. The person who designed the instructionsv should not have a job designing instructions, or make that person put together a year's worth of IKEA furniture to understand how real instructions should be done.

Came undamaged, good packing job. Door is solid, once assembly is completed. As others have commented, took about an hour to assemble. Instructions suck. found the youtube vid on how to assemble, very helpful, finish is nice, more solid than expected when I opened the box. nuts that attach the handle protrude too far, hits the door trim, already scratched, I think they could do better, flush mount? track and rollers and other hardware are good. Assembly vid shows assembly on a sheet of plywood on saw horses, yes, a must have if you want to have any patience left, makes assembly much easier. door rolls nicely, installer had to install a 4x6 mounting board for the track as the holes in the track are drilled 17 and 3/4" on center, who ever heard of that? either 16" or 24" on center, weird! so with the track mounting board at least the door clears the molding...except the handle nuts.

Exactly as pictured. The door was surprisingly light weight and easy to put together. We are currently in the process of converting an upstairs loft into a bedroom and this door was exactly what we were looking for! We did need to purchase a board to act as the "mounting board" but that was a quick fix! The door slides easily and even comes with a floor guide which was an unexpected yet welcome surprise. The only draw back is that the handle is only on one side but that may be standard on barn style doors. Over we are very please with this purchase!

Overall, this door was a very good buy. The door was very easy to put together. I purchased a separate handle that matched my Fixtures. My only issue with the door was drilling a hole to install the door handle was slightly difficult. Drilling through the PVC was difficult to keep the bit straight which can lead to the handle not fitting correctly. I installed this about six months ago and everything is still solid and working smoothly.

Unfortunately we could never try to put the door together and install because there was a hole in the packaging that went straight through to the door and made a hole in one of the slats. So disappointing to have to worry about shipping this back now. I definitely think there is room for improvements on the packaging of this product. Possibly more cushion inside the box could help or extra layers of cardboard.

How dumb could I be to think that for the price I would get a quality product? This is garbage at its finest. Height was incorrect and had to cut the bottom to fit my home. It is a temporary fix. Lesson learned
