I am in love with this lamp. It's gorgeous. The glass has these great bubbles in it that, coupled with the linen shade, add lovely texture to my room. The bronze base goes perfectly with my decor; it looks rich and sturdy, but the glass lightens it up so that it doesn't look imposing or stuffy. The height is perfect for a table top-- it's not oversized (I hate tall table lamps that allow the light from the bulb to shine on me under the shade...I want the diffusion of light that the shade provides so I don't feel like I have a spotlight on me), and it's not a disappointing miniature like many lamps I've ordered online. It's a gorgeous, heavy, very well-made, tasteful table lamp. Assembly was easy...it took about 5 minutes, no tools, and even included the bulb (standard base). I don't know the price of this as it's not listed at the time of my review, but I wouldn't expect it to be cheap, as this isn't a cheap lamp. It's not Tiffany, but it's quite nice. I saw a very similar lamp on Wayfair for just under $150, and I would be fine with paying that for this one. Anything less would be, IMO, a very good deal. I am going to buy another one as soon as they're available (assuming the price is fair) so that I have a set for my console table. ... show more

This is a table lamp that has a see-through glass body. It comes with an LED light bulb that emits a natural white light. Assembly is no more than 5 minutes -- as all you do is put on the shade and the bulb. The glass body is on the thicker side -- so it feels fairly sturdy and well made.
