Do Not purchase this item. I bought the one with 3 suction cups less than 6 months ago. One suction cup never worked (it was always on red) but since I had thrown away the packaging, I didn't return it. The middle suction cup apparatus fell apart in less than 6 months. What a waste of money!

These do work well on tile and probably glass. I, actually thought they would work on smooth painted walls but they do not. I feel secure stepping in and out of shower. The fact that they are resuable will be handy no mater where I am. Although I am returning the arm that moves, because the little ball on each suction when it hits the line on the tile it doesn't want to seal. So you possibly want to check the size of your tile? Ours is 4" X 4 1/2"
