Read the reviews and decided to take a chance on this Grab bar. The suction cups and locking device sealed so good to my tiles like it was screwed into the wall. I'm a big Guy and have been using it for a few weeks and would recommend it to anyone who needs an painless assembly to the bathroom tile.

Purchased these because my favorite grab bars were not available. They appeared to be made similar to the Oxo grab bars that I prefer. These are a nice length and seem to have just as good suction, very strong, Time will tell if they loosen. What I do not care for is that the soft grey grab area is on the out side or top side and the inside where your fingers touch is a hard plastic with finger grips that are slick, I like the other style grip where the gray soft area is inside where the fingers grab and the outside where the palm touches is the smooth plastic. It may just be my preference, the other grab bars have not loosened and they have been installed for more than a year, these appear to be holding as well, both types are easy to install and somewhat difficult to remove but do not leave any marks. I think it is a good grab bar if you are ok with the grip area.

Super easy to install. Felt very secure when using 2 of them in the shower before and after knee surgery. Nice indicators to show if it is coming loose. Be sure to apply to the surface with some force to use the strong suction. Don't rely oy on the fastener snap. Stays on and has a good grip for shaving and for entry/exit.

If your shower wall is not completely smooth or has a slight texture, the handles will lose suction rather quickly. You must be mindful and check for suction before using and take them off when you are done using or they will fall off your wall. They work great for shower time (10-15 minutes) but highly recommend testing first on your shower wall.

They are great when traveling. Some hotels and guest houses do not have handrails. You can put them in the shower or near the toilet to assist the elderly or disabled. Works great. No slipping. I ordered one of these but was very skeptical it would work. After trying a half-dozen different brands of grab bars I had virtually given up on finding a good one. But... sure glad I didn't. This is the first and only grab bar that actually stays on my shower wall and does not fall off in the middle of the night. It seems to have much more suction power that the cheaper bars I've tried. So, as they say... you get what you pay! Forgot to mention... the green and red indicators on each end of the grab bar instantly tell you if the grab bar is firmly attached or is loose. Being able to simply glance at the bar to check its status is extremely helpful and reassuring.
