I have naturally silver hair, which for the past two years I have been having colored golden blonde. My stylist wouldn't bleach all the red tones out so I went elsewhere, they tried but there is still too much "yellow" for my liking. So as not to ruin my hair by another processing treatment ( they have done 2) I decided I would try this product. The way I use it is I pick a tiny section of my hair and spray it as a highlight , wait for it to dry completely then after applying another brand of instant spray in a titanium color underneath, I get the biolage look I wanted. Yes this product does dry stiff,, could be becuase I hold the can only 2 inches away, but for a more natural look it is simply resolved by a light brushing . I have no mess in my bathroom, but I do hold the spray very close to my hair. I was recently in the hospital and several of the young nurses complimented my hair. It shimmers and helps hide the yellow tones that I was trying to remove. I have not sprayed it all over my head, just random highlights all over. It does not rub off on my pillow and stays until I wash my hair, even after applying products and brushing daily. The only thing that removes it is a shampooing. ... show more

I've stopped coloring my hair and I'm letting my silver come in. Now that I'm getting used to the silver, sometimes I want more of it. This is just the right thing. It washes out easily, and it gives my style a little punch. Love it.

Some of the reviews mentioned it was messy, but I have not found it so. I use it to highlight my dull gray hair strands, can brush it through and it looks very natural. It might get on your hands a little, but it washes off right away. There are not many gray enhancing products on the market, at least I haven't seen them, so I'm glad to have found this one. The color is strong and doesn't make your hair sticky. I took one star away because the color I got was rose gold and when sprayed knew it looks a little on the orange side. Not quite what I wanted but still a cool product!

I would’ve given it a zero but there’s no option for that. The spray works, but it immediately makes your hair stiff and tangled to where you can’t even move your hair comfortably. If you touch the color it gets on your hands. It comes of and just stains everything. I had it all over my back and neck and clothes. I used this for a festival and my boyfriend was standing behind me and by the end of the night his white shirt turned pink. Luckily, it washes off clothes but you have to put it in a separate washer. In picture 2 that is what his hair looks like before the spray. It's a silver/grey color but without the shine. The spray really makes it pop! It's easy to wash out, and easy to apply.
