I used this product just to add some color to my bangs. It looked very cute and easy to apply. It lasted throughout the day. I will continue to purchase until I get enough courage to highlight my hair. SO if you want a little color for a day, I definitely recommend this product.

When my supervisors declared we were going to have Superhero/Supervillain day at work, there was clearly only one thing for me to do: Pull out my purple suit and become the Clown Prince of Quarantine. The only problem was that I didn't have my fav. green hairspray for the look and couldn't get any on short notice. Nothing else looked up to the task so finally, with admitted reservations, I got a can of this thinking that if it didn't work, oh well. It's what the supervisors got for only giving me a week's notice. My biggest trepidation was coverage, followed by colour. Mint isn't exactly a 'Joker' green, after all, and since this was for 'hints and highlights' I didn't expect it to show on my dark brown hair at all. Things started looking up when the can arrived and the back showed examples of it sprayed on blonde hair (mint) and brown hair (a nice, emerald-ish green). It looked like my dark hair would play in my favor for once! The next test was to apply it. Normally I apply my hairspray in the shower because it gets everywhere. Absolutely everywhere. After a couple of sprays, though, I became concerned about wastage given the small quantity, so I decided to see just how good the applicator tip was a try doing it in front of the mirror. Worked like a charm! Seriously, there was no over spray at all! And the colour was perfect and while it took the full can, the coverage was all I could ask for! (picture above) So yes, while I wouldn't recommend it if you want super opaque coverage on long hair, 'cause you'll need a ton, for small jobs it works like a charm and I'd imagine that for it's intended use of Hints and Highlights it would do quite well. ... show more

I got this for my son's Halloween costume. The spray was easy to use and came out easily with just 1 wash. The amount was just enough to cover a 9-year old boy's full crop of hair. Color came out as pictured even on black hair.

It would’ve been better if this was Matte. Finish was more gold than blonde. I have black hair so it looked like a golden bronze. Had to wash twice to get out of hair.

I like that this product is easy to use and it does give you some instant warmth to your hair especially if it’s too dark And you want to lighten it up a little bit. The only thing that I have reservations about is that if it’s not completely and totally dry the product does tend to rub off on things like your hands. So if you are still styling your hair, don’t spray the color on until last. ... show more
