  • Sturdy and portable all in one travel lens
Style: Canon RF
I’ve been using the new Sigma 16-300mm lens on my Canon R10, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite pieces of gear. The standout feature is its incredible versatility—going from 16mm wide-angle to 300mm telephoto in a single lens is a game-changer for travel and everyday shooting. It means I can capture sweeping landscapes and then zoom in for detailed shots without ever swapping lenses. Portability is another big win. Despite the impressive zoom range, the lens remains relatively compact and easy to carry, making it perfect for on-the-go photography. The build quality feels solid and premium, giving me confidence that it can handle regular use. Image quality is sharp across most of the range, and autofocus performance pairs well with the Canon R10. While there’s some expected distortion at the extremes, it’s easily corrected in post. Overall, if you want a single lens that covers almost every scenario—from wide-angle to super-telephoto—without sacrificing portability or durability, the Sigma 16-300mm is an excellent choice. ... show more

  • Great at everything!
Style: Sony E
This lens was perfect on a recent trip to the Faroe Islands. This lens held up great even on rainy hikes. Had I brought multiple lens I would have been unable to change them because of the weather. This lens is so fun to use, it’s so versatile and the image is sharp for a lens of this kind.
