Received two waxed bulbs from Holland Bulb Farms through Amazon for my 99 year old Mother for a Christmas Gift. The Bulb with Green Wax looked to be in good condition when received but is not growing and is still not growing. The sprout is brown and looks dead. We received a credit for the bulb that was cracked but not for this bulb the Green bulb. I haven't received a refund for my second bulb purchased that is also dead. The top of the bulb is falling apart.

Came dormant and was the last of 3 I ordered to put up a bud. Still waiting for it to open up. Does look like I'll get another bloom after this one. Great gift!

I ordered this waxed amaryllis as a gift for my sister who lives in another state. It arrived Dec. 13. She sent me a photo today ( Jan. 14 ) and it has yet to show any signs of life. I bought similar bulbs at Trader Joe’s for a fraction of the price and they have bloomed twice. I am deeply disappointed in this product. Please don’t send it to your loved ones.

Never started to grow and was non returnable. Waste of money. Go buy one for 7.99 and save your money.

My bulb produced multiple blooms in a lovely shade of red. Even after the initial set of blooms it is still sending up more green leaves. It will be interesting to see if it actually blooms again. I would just mention that it did take awhile before it did anything.

This bulb never bloomed or looked healthy. For the price paid, a refund or replacement is needed. By the way, it was a birthday gift. Received 5/14/25 - photo taken 7/29/25.
