I bought this lightweight battery operated mower for ease of handling. Instead I got a product that kept turning itself off and then it was impossible to restart. This is my second and last attempt to buy this product.

I hate gas powered lawnmowers…they are so hard to start. This…press of a button!! Assembly was so easy until I got to attaching the top part of the handle. The tools and bolts that were supposedly included were nowhere to be found. I got annoyed. Looked everywhere in the box. Sent an email to customer service. Looked some more. Plugged in the battery cause at least by the time the replacement tools are shipped I will have the battery charged. Opened the battery compartment to see how the battery would fit…guess what’s in there. The tools. So I finished assembly and patiently waited for the battery to charge. Then came the rain. So I had to contain my excitement until the next day. I have a small front yard that’s professionally mowed every other week. I still needed to see how this worked. It cuts like magic!!!! The one complaint I have is that the grass bag fills super quick and then the grass gets all clogged under the mower. I simply just took the bag off and cut the rest of the lawn without it and it ran smooth the entire time. The battery lasted the entire small front yard. Customer service by the way, answered my email within 12 hrs. They told me where the tools were located and provided a link to a replacement battery. I like to have two batteries so I can cut both the front and backyard without having to stop and wait for a battery to charge. Well worth the money!

After unboxing, it took approximately 10 minutes to assemble the Litheli Cordless Lawn Mower. With a detailed instruction manual, a person only needs to fit together the mower handle, attach the grass catcher basket, apply two clips and then install the battery. The Litheli Cordless Lawn Mower that I had the pleasure to rate and review came with a fully charged battery ready to go out of the box. I had been saving a good portion of our back yard lawn in anticipation of receiving the Litheli Cordless Lawn Mower, so the grass in spots had already gotten rather tall (about 9"). It was a great test for a new mower of any make or style, and the Litheli passed with flying colors. Going through some of the more bulky clumps of grass did take a couple of passes at first, but I started out with the highest setting the mower offers and didn't notice much if any, reduction of mowing power. The Litheli Cordless Lawn Mower does operate very quietly, quietly enough to where you can have a conversation with someone walking next to you while you mow. This is a great feature for perhaps those who live in a residential area and like to mow first thing in the morning. There is not enough noise produced from the mower to possibly annoy any nearby neighbors who might be still trying to sleep. I was able to get about 750 square feet of yard mowed on one battery charge. That's quite a bit of space when you think about it. And recharging the battery didn't take any more than about an hour. The battery itself is a nice part of the Litheli mower package with a very sleek design and ability to also function as a power block to charge/power cell phones and other similar devices requiring either the standard USB or USB-C connections. This is a nice feature. But a little more about the battery... I read some of the other reviews where some people were concerned about only being given one battery while the Litheli has a storage space for two. To further expound on this issue, one of the primary complaints is that Litheli doesn't offer the availability of purchasing another battery. I confirmed this myself from the Litheli web site itself. However, the mower manual clearly states that the battery is warrantied for 3 years. Yes it would be nice to have a 2nd battery, but it is not imperative to the operation of the mower itself. I gather that this is a relatively new product in which they only have a limited number of batteries currently available to satisfy demand for this mower - the only mower they currently offer. I'm not going to base the overall rating on the battery alone. I'm just happy they provide at least one with the new mower! There are only a couple of things I didn't like about the Litheli Cordless Lawn Mower, yet I am still giving it a high rating of 4 stars despite not having an option where you can open a side discharge chute to allow the cut grass to easily be thrown out. The problem with many of the new mowers (corded or fueled) that I have used is that the grass catcher bag attachment does not always do its job properly, often plugging up the discharge chute before the bag is full or even part of the way filled. This seems to be an inherent problem with the Litheli as well. On shorter grass, it wasn't as prevalent but still did occur. Overall I feel very pleased with the Litheli Cordless Lawn Mower and am happy to recommend it. While it may have a smaller cutting path than the larger, corded or gas powered mowers, it is a rather lightweight unit that is easy to drive through your yard and not frustrate you by always having to maintain and route an extension cord or mess with smelly fuels and lubricants. The small maneuverability of the mower is also great for those small areas where obstacles exist. I think once a person settles on the variable desired cutting height the Litheli offers, you will have a pleasant grass cutting experience and leave your lawn looking healthy and well maintained. And again, the quiet operation of the mower is certainly a big bonus. It is easy to operate and manageable enough for young boys, girls, wives and girlfriends to use, as well as the elderly who just want to get some casual exercise by mowing their yard. The physical exertion needed to push the Litheli Cordless Lawn Mower is not strenuous except for perhaps the frequent emptying of the grass catcher, but no more rigorous than a good brisk morning walk! I'm happy that I'm finally able to break away from an extension cord workout!!

Ok, after reading other reviews I was a little wary but I've had absolutely no issues at all. It was easy to unpack and set up right out if the box. The instructions can be slightly confusing only because it gives you instructions for installing the lower handles, but they come pre-installed. I personally don't mind because I'd rather have the instructions and not need them. I seen other reviewers had some slight issue with the bagger hookup, but I had none of that either. I lifted the plastic flap, hooked it on, and set the plastic flap in the groove. It is a smaller mower (almost a mini mower) so smaller hands obviously work better than larger ones with this product. The mower itself is super easy to use. You pop the battery in, close the top cover, push the button, pull back the orange bar on the top handle and it starts right up. It automatically switches modes when you get into thicker grass as well. You can manually select the height of the cut just like with any standard mower. It is easy to maneuver due to its compact size and cuts very well. I cut a decent size front yard and didn't use the whole battery. The bag is easy to remove and empty as well. Overall, i'm really surprised by this machine. I love it.

I must admit I was sceptical about this mower, but very surprised when I first used it. First of all the assembly was very easy. Just putting the handle together and that was it. I didn't attach the bagger because I like to mulch and did not relish many trips to empty the small bag. We have over an acre, but only a small lawn directly around the house. Wee wanted a mower that we could use to mow and be small enough to get the small detail areas around our many gardens. This was the perfect tool for that chore. The mower is so lightweight and easy to push which is great because I am partially disabled. I had no problem maneuvering this little mower. The mower also cuts very well. Even some moderately heavy stuff was mowed without issue. The battery is lightweight as well and seems to be able to be recharged by most conventional USB devices such as a computer. Of course we'll have to see how the mower and battery last over time and we'll come back to update if anything out of the ordinary happens.
