  • Perfect for lightweight mowing jobs on small lawns
Size: 16''-Brushless-Two Batteries
In the summer, I have a man who comes around to do my lawn once a week with a big riding mower, but he generally folds up at the end of September. Sometimes the grass continues to grow, and always the leaves come down. I got the Litheli 40V (2 x 20V) 16" Electric Lawn Mower as a lightweight filler to cover the October/November time frame. Here are some hints (that others have mentioned), roughly in the order that you will need them: 1. It comes in a big box marked "Heavy". It's not, really. It's just extremely bulky and awkward. There's no cutouts for handles. 2. It is easy to assemble, which is good because the instruction booklet is pretty useless. It's mostly a parts list, and it doesn't list all of them. Basically the only assembly you do is put on the handles. 3. There's a pair of sockets under the front hood for the batteries. That's where they put the packet of screws and such to assemble the handles. The instruction booklet doesn't mention this. 4. It comes with the mulching panel in place at the bottom rear of the mower. If you want to use the grass catcher you have to remove this panel. Also not in the manual. 5. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. The noise isn't much over that of an energetic hair dryer. 6. It doesn't have enough power to cut thick/wet grass unless you start at the highest cut setting and make several successively lower cuts. 7. It doesn't do well with leaf pickup, unless they are totally dry, and even then you need a low cut setting. 8. The batteries run down fast and charge slow, unless you buy the optional extra charging station. As delivered, the batteries are at 3/4 charge. Bringing one battery up from 75% to 100% using a standard USB charger took 13 hours. Using the charging station took about 15 minutes. 9. The catch basket is on the small side, which is to be expected since the width of cut is only 16". I had to stop and empty it every 60ft or so. 10. Emptying the bag is easy, just lift the safety cover and pull straight up. Overall, it's an excellent machine, fully worth the price. ... show more

  • Good but short battery
Size: 16''-Brushless-Two Batteries
This lawnmower is great but I would say the biggest con of the lawnmower is the battery level. The power is very low for long uses, if you have a big yard I wouldn't recommend. Very easy to use, and is very functional, if you have a normal or small yard this is a must have.

  • I can store it very easily, and it’s light to carry
Size: 16''-Brushless-Two Batteries
When I got it a had to sharpen the blade, it was really dull and I think it would have killed the batteries faster. it performs very well for a plastic lawn mower, if the grass doesn’t collect in the bag, remove the bag then pull out the piece of plastic that is in front of it, there is a small handle. The mower looks like a storm trooper because of its black and white color. This is a really nice mower to have on hand for a smaller size yard. I’m gonna get 2 more batteries so I can get more done than the stated 30 min run, My grass got pretty tall so I have to go a half foot at a time, so it doesn’t stop the blade, all in all this is a very handy, and nice mower. Update The batteries will not lock in place, I have to wedge a screw in there to keep them locked in, but it has at least lasted the summer I took it apart and was able to free the plastic plunger that allows the locking mechanism for the batteries to come back out after hitting the button ... show more

  • Be aware
Size: 16''-Brushless-Two Batteries
Yes for what you're paying for it is a good lawn mower however because you have to keep charging him and the charging takes longer and you have to keep waiting and you can only mow so much it is really a difficult situation because you can lower it you can make it go higher however it doesn't matter if you put too much on it too fast it runs the battery down even faster and it can take you days to get just one yard mowed ... show more

  • Horrible battery constantly overheating. Poor quality design overall.
Size: 16''-Brushless-Two Batteries
Sending this back. Battery continuously overheating every single use. Dies in about 30 mins and won't charge if battery is overheating. I would say this is a fluke, but it's clearly not because if you read the battery instruction manual, it tells you that the battery has a shut-off feature if it overheats, and that the battery will not charge if it's overheating. This tells me that when they were doing their testing phase or their design phase, they were very well aware that their batteries overheat and didn't care enough about the customers who pay for their products to make sure that the batteries did not overheat. But beyond that I would need another two sets of batteries. So six batteries total in order to probably just get through my front yard and that's not even including my backyard which is about the same size, and these batteries take all day long to charge. I'm not even kidding it takes the entire day to charge. So if I had all six batteries, 2 more sets at 29.99 a set, I would have to change batteries three different times to cut the yard. Put them back on the charger each time a set dies, come run back, to put it on the charger or either let it cool off first and then come back 30 minutes later because it takes a while to cool off, then put it on the charger. Put the new set in, all that takes time, before you can continue on your first cut. Not even your backyard. That is too much. This is the poorest quality design I've ever seen. For anyone to intentionally leave in their product of yard tools make no sense with an overheating problem, you're obviously going to use them in the summer when it's already hot outside. And I don't know why it is, but my experience on Amazon is just becoming real piss-poor because every single product that I buy has some kind of default or faulty piece or item on it. My screw was stripped for the hinges that I needed to tighten to get the hinges to fold and unfold into position to lock and unlock. Which is really also ridiculous because you have to unscrew both sets of hinges halfway before you can fold and unfold it. It's really tedious. The hinges are hard to turn. They're poorly designed and they barely stay in place on the handle once you unscrew it to fold it down, if you're not careful the handle will come off and you'll loose a screw. And of course one of my screw and hinge pieces had to be forced in place just so I could tighten it because the screw was stripped, I to take the screw off the hinge turn it the other way hoping it would tighten and hold in place. Lastly, I'm mid-mow and this is my third time using the lawn mower because I've had to stop continuously to charge these batteries(over the last two days). The back wheel pops off. I pick it up and I hear some rattling around inside. I'm like okay. I'm hoping by looking at the design of this wheel this outer compartment is used to save the bolts from popping off that attaches the wheel to the screw. Sure enough, on the inside there's a bolt just rolling around, and I'm like this couldn't have been tightened too well in order for this to pop off. I'm not doing anything but using the lawn mower for what it's designed to do which is to push back and forth across the lawn. So after I'm done I push it over to my house. I get my flathead screwdriver and some pliers out, pop off the top of the wheel, screw the wheel back on with the bolt tighten it well with the pliers put the face back on and I go ahead and check all the other wheels just to confirm my suspicions, two other wheel bolts were in fact loose and I had to screw them on tight. I read the manual before I put it together and nowhere in the manual did it say, check any parts or pieces to make sure that it was properly tightend. It's very very poor quality. Very dissatisfied would not recommend stay away from this lawn mower will be returning ASAP. ... show more
