Not going to lie....it looks like a toy due to the size and color. I get weird looks from the passers. However, it makes it lighter and easy to use. I have small lawn, so this was the perfect solution. No electric cord to handle and no gas smell. Battery does last long. For storage, take the receptacle out, loosen and fold over the handle assembly, you can stand it up to minimize the space it takes. Height setting is easy to use plenty to control how short/high you want to cut. No complaints. Gave 4/5 star for the maneuverability because depending on whether the grass is really long or there is a slope, you need to give some power to move it. This is because motor is not connected to the wheels. Note that there is no power to the wheels, as with any economical lawn mower. If you have a good size lawn or have slopes, not sure if this one will work for you. Also, I try to minimize rolling it on pavements because since wheels are plastic. Easy enough to lift it and carry. Motor does make a proper lawn mower noise. It's not like a electrical car where synthetic noise has to be added due to the quietness. It actually sounds like a regular lawn mower. I was actually surprised by it. With small and flat lawn, this is the one to get. This lawn mower is super easy to put together and even simpler to use. The battery lasted enough for me to cut through my lawn twice. The lawn mower comes 95% pre-assembled and I just had to put the handles together and plug the battery in. Once the battery was fully depleted, it took a couple of hours to fully charge. When I used the lawn mower for the first time it kept shutting off, and then I realized I had it on the lowest setting while my grass had grown a lot longer so the safety mechanism was kicking in, which I really like. Once I changed the height setting to the correct position, the lawn mower worked perfectly and it was a breeze to cut the grass in my lawn. Up until now I have been using my neighbor's larger lawn mower on my lawn, and it is much harder to push around, especially since my lawn is on a slope, but this smaller lawn mower was a breeze to push around.     • Easy and dependable

Loved it but my handle just broke and now the mower will not catch to start, it's an electrical thing inside the green handle, once you push the button the handle is so loose it won't catch to start.

    • The mower has a serious design flaw

The clips securing the handle do NOT easily attach as indicated in the instructions and various videos. I contacted the manufacturer to try to determine the cause of the problem. It's a design flaw, which they are clearly aware of and clearly have no intention of fixing. Their final solution was to loosen the bolts, creating a serious safety hazard. When I made it clear I had already tried everything they suggested, they sent me an in-house created video which proved their "solution" made the mower unsafe. They then instructed me to take the mower to a hardware store and pay them to loosen the bolts for me (since, apparently, as a woman, I am too stupid to understand or follow instructions). Because of my busy work schedule and cold winter, the grass in the back garden has been growing for several months. The arrival of this mower inspires me to clean up the grass that I had accumulated for several months just within two days. The lawn mower is very easy to install and very light to use. One suggestion is that if the grass gather together and it is not easy to push over the machine, you can pull backwards. And the most important thing is that it is relatively small, easy to store in a garage. In addition, it is using a battery, so it saves the cost of the large gas. My back yard and front yard in total is about 7000 square feet, so I think this lawn mower is very suitable for 5000-10000 square feet of medium or small gardens. ... show more

It's lightweight, easy to assemble, and maneuverable but that's about it. If you're looking for a lawnmower that is easy to get out of the box, this one's it. It works great on cement driveways, sitting perfectly still, or if your lawn is 5'x8' but any bigger than that, forget it! It constantly cuts out, even on one inch long grass! You have to recharge the battery every 10 minutes or so. You will get a decent cut if you borrow your neighbor's lawnmower. It's like it's allergic to grass or scared of it. It can't stand to be on grass, maybe it feels as if it will get hurt. This one just needs to be in the box where it's safe and warm and no one with human hands will touch it, ever! It looks good though, my neighbor commented how cute it was! I just wish it cut grass. ... show more

It was easy to assemble. Easy to pick up. The batteries don't last no time. I have a small front and back yard and cannot finish both with the 2 batteries it comes with. It WILL NOT cut grass that is even remotely thick or high. I mean, you have to mow every single day to make this thing work well. The bag is so small you have to empty it every 5 minutes and you can't use it without it attached. I honestly regret this purchase. ... show more

I have recently lost my job of 21 years and in an effort to save some money this year, I knew I'd have to cancel my weekly lawn service. My biggest problem with mowing is that I have a very difficult time starting gas pull starts. I am so thankful for the progress electric tools have made. I should have made this change much sooner. I got the mower put together by myself and was able to start the mower right up. It took me very little time to get the hang of the self propulsion feature. I'm so happy with this mower.
