Initially, we found this hose to be lightweight and very nice although the spout doesn't work well like most in this price range. When we first got it, I had to lay it out straight on the patio to get all the kinks out. And, I found that putting it on a hose rack only created more kinks when we tried to use it. So we leave it lengthways on the patio concrete in the shade. However, soon the black outer material wore off in places where it had initially kinked for (literally) seconds before I straightened it out. And now, much less than a year later... it is leaking in several places. Unfortunately before the leaks, we bought a second hose. We'll see how this one goes. And of course, we have no recourse with Amazon or the manufacturer. My recommendation is do not buy this product.

I didn’t realize how stiff and how bad it would kink. I’d say if you’re going to use it to keep it straight and never have to put it up then it’s a perfect hose for you but if it’s something that you need to use daily and move around with no…. this isn’t it.
