I recently got the Abvsdu Lighted Metal Doorbell Button to replace my old, broken doorbell button. My previous button was a generic plastic model that, after a few years, started to fail—eventually, the plastic broke off entirely and it stopped working. What I really like about this new doorbell button is its solid metal construction. It feels much more durable and is clearly designed to last longer than plastic alternatives. I’m confident it won’t suffer the same fate as my old one, and it adds a nice, sturdy look to my home’s exterior. Installation was straightforward. I simply connected the wires and mounted the new button in place. However, I do recommend shutting off the power at the breaker before starting the installation—even though doorbell circuits are low voltage, it’s always better to be safe and avoid any risk of electric shock. Overall, this is a great replacement for a wired doorbell. It’s well-made, easy to install, and looks good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade or replace their old doorbell button. ... show more

Saw this doorbell and decided it was time to ditch my sad old plastic button that had zero flair (and zero light). This sleek black metal one looks great and even lights up—though it’s a cool white glow when I was hoping for warm vibes. No biggie. The construction feels solid, like it could survive a zombie apocalypse—or at least the Amazon delivery guy slamming the button. Installation was mostly a breeze… until the supplied screws tapped out early. One screw head just gave up and said, “Nope,” mid-screw. Luckily, I had backups that matched.
