Overall this is a great product. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do which is to exercise your legs by peddling. I originally bought it for my husband who has a neurological disease and cannot exercise easily. I now use it after having knee replacement surgery for rehab. It has a resistance knob to increase peddling resistance. It also has a digital readout for counting pedal revolutions,distance, rpm,time, and calories. And that is really all the adjustments it has so it’s very simple and straight forward to use and there is a very little to put together out of the box. I think for someone who is somewhat sedentary and wants to exercise their legs a little or for rehab it’s a very nice little unit. There are a couple of things that are drawbacks. One is that it’s really heavy. It has a handle to make moving it easier but for someone who is not very strong or frail or has a bad back or bad shoulders, it will be challenging to move. I think the fact that it’s heavy probably makes it good quality but it’s also a bit of a problem if you need to move it a lot. If you are paddling fast it will not bounce around. I originally bought this for my husband but he has a very difficult time keeping his feet on the pedals. The pedals are wide enough for most feet and long enough and are set in, meaning it’s not a bike pedal. And that’s the reason I bought this machine to accommodate my husbands feet and ankles which do not work well. However I wish they had an attachment for a wide strap to keep the foot on the pedal. For him he really needs that to keep his foot on the pedal. And you would also be able to do a push pull motion, not just push. So unfortunately it doesn’t work that well for him. I plan to keep it though because it works for me to exercise my knee. All in all I recommend this peddler this is something that you’re looking for. ... show more

I looked into various different under the desk elliptical machines including Sunny and Cubii , and am very happy with the LifePro flexstride. I bought it for my parents who are in their 80s and increasingly sedentary. The machine is quiet, very easy to use, easy to assemble, and both are very happy with it. A few notes : 1. The flexstride came with the screws, washers and nuts already in place. They had to be removed and then reassembled with the appropriate parts put in place. Initially, I thought they were missing from the package because they were not in the hardware container 2. The screws can only be screwed on by hand partway. You have to use the wrench to hold the nut in place and the Allen wrench to turn the screw to fasten them snuggly 3. The flexstride does NOT come with a mat, coasters for under a chair, or arm bands 4. The handle for carrying the machine is extremely helpful 5. The flexstride does not slide at all on a rug or carpet 6. The flexstride is 25 pounds, which is lighter than the flexstride pro (30 pounds) 7. There is some mild clicking when cycling that comes and goes, but it does not bother me (could be bothersome in a quiet workplace) 8. The resistance is minimal even on the highest setting. So it’s not great for a true strengthening workout for someone younger, but it’s a perfect low resistance workout for someone older to keep circulation going, to get a light cardio workout , and to get light strengthening, mostly of the quads 9. The machine does not require electricity, which makes it easily portable and without wires to trip over Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and glad I got it! ... show more

This is my second Life Pro product. Both are great quality, well built, sturdy and perform well. I called Customer Service on a Saturday because I thought I was missing a couple of bolts which were needed to attach a stabilizer. I got a message that their offices were open Monday - Friday. I left a message and hoped to hear from them on Monday. I was very surprised when they called me on Sunday to help with whatever I needed. They were superb in their support, kindness and courtesy. As it turned out, I did not need anything. The bolts that I thought were missing, were in their required places. I did need to remove them to attach the piece.
