I have tried my parents under desk elliptical from a differnt manufacturer. Let me tell you - this one (without red light) from LifePro ROCKS! The pros: Very easy to set up - it comes all put together - no parts to assemble! It also is very quiet - no one knows I am using it! I even brought it in the family room and watched TV with it going and no complaints about noise. On automatic, it runs smoothly. On manual, it of course takes more effort to use, but it still works smoothly. The cons: It is a little on the heavy side, but it is not meant to be moved every day, so not a deal breaker. It is a little on the larger size, but it needs to be to be useable. But if you are looking to put it in your family room, it might be a little big. The other con - and again - not horrible, but when I unboxed everything and set it aside, then read the user manual, it said it came with a DC power supply. There was not one in the box. Then I looked at the 2 prong power cord and it fit in the unit without a DC power supply. I even had my kids look for an area where there would be a DC power supply to plug in to and nothing. So my take is that the user manual is wrong. Maybe a previous version had one and they just didn't update the usuer manual? Again the quality of this elliptical is superb! I recently purchased the FlexStride Plus under-desk elliptical for myself to use and it has been a game-changer for my daily routine so far. I am a home office based employee at my company and I spend long hours at my desk. I really needed a way to stay active without disrupting my workflow, and this little machine delivers perfectly. I was skeptical at first but I have been using it every day. What I Love: ✔ Smooth & Quiet Operation – The motion is seamless, and it’s whisper-quiet, so I can use it during meetings or while working without distractions. I have a lot of Zoom and Teams calls every day and I can't do anything that will be disruptive like lifting weights or being on a treadmill. ✔ Compact & Sturdy Design – It fits perfectly under my desk without taking up too much space, and it feels well-built. I like the blue color and how stable it is. ✔ Adjustable Resistance – I love that I can change the resistance to vary my workout intensity. Whether I want a light activity or a bit of a challenge, it adapts to my needs. ✔ Easy to Use – It took minutes to set up, and the display tracks my progress, which keeps me motivated. I looked into various different under the desk elliptical machines including Sunny and Cubii , and am very happy with the LifePro flexstride. I bought it for my parents who are in their 80s and increasingly sedentary. The machine is quiet, very easy to use, easy to assemble, and both are very happy with it. A few notes : 1. The flexstride came with the screws, washers and nuts already in place. They had to be removed and then reassembled with the appropriate parts put in place. Initially, I thought they were missing from the package because they were not in the hardware container 2. The screws can only be screwed on by hand partway. You have to use the wrench to hold the nut in place and the Allen wrench to turn the screw to fasten them snuggly 3. The flexstride does NOT come with a mat, coasters for under a chair, or arm bands 4. The handle for carrying the machine is extremely helpful 5. The flexstride does not slide at all on a rug or carpet 6. The flexstride is 25 pounds, which is lighter than the flexstride pro (30 pounds) 7. There is some mild clicking when cycling that comes and goes, but it does not bother me (could be bothersome in a quiet workplace) 8. The resistance is minimal even on the highest setting. So it’s not great for a true strengthening workout for someone younger, but it’s a perfect low resistance workout for someone older to keep circulation going, to get a light cardio workout , and to get light strengthening, mostly of the quads 9. The machine does not require electricity, which makes it easily portable and without wires to trip over Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and glad I got it! ... show more

I am not going to keep you in suspense. I love this machine! It arrived in perfect condition and a couple of days early, too. It was packed extremely well, nothing was out of place, not even a dent on the box! It was easy to set up, it has some weight to it, but not so heavy that I can not move it around. I am terrible at not looking at the directions. I did glance at them, but it is easy enough that you really don't need to, but you should. After the excitement of using it, I did go back and read the very well put-together instruction book. The only thing I had any trouble with was getting the red light to turn on. Again, if I had read the book ahead, I would have seen how to do that; it is very simple! It is fairly quiet and lots of options for usage, forward, backwards, and different speeds. I think this is going to be great for the beginner, with plenty of room to move up as you are more advanced! I have no complaints about this product and actually this is not the first Lifepro product I have and I can say from everything I have bought and used the company and their products are A1! ... show more
