We had an electric fireplace that we had been using in our basement for years. We got it as a gift and it was great. Lately, it started having issues and it seems it was time to replace it. I started looking for a new one, put a few in my wishlist and ending up buying one that was highly recommended.....only to have it not work right out of the box. I returned it and went back to my wishlist. This was the next one I chose. This LifeSmart LifePro Electric Infrared Fireplace Heater looks almost identical to the one we were replacing and I honestly should have ordered it in the first place. Such a breeze it was! All I had to do was open the box, plug it in and viola! It works great! Our basement has 3 rooms with an open space and is about 900 square feet total. We do keep the door closed to one of the rooms but this heats the entire basement in under 20 minutes. It has 3 heat settings: 1000 watt, 1500 watt and eco. It also has an overheat and tip over switch. You can adjust the brightness for the flames and it has a digital thermostat with a 12 hour timer. It does come with a remote but so far, we haven't used it. It's also very elegant and easy to clean. We haven't had any issues with it feeling hot on the top so we are able to set a few small items on the mantle. I was a bit leery about getting the stone one but it's so beautiful that I'm glad I did. It's not real tall, sitting at a little over 2 feet, but that's perfect for the room we have it in. Anything much bigger would have been obnoxious. I'm so happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

I just purchased a new home and I sleep downstairs. I noticed it could get very cold down there so I purchased this fireplace. It keeps my room so warm and cozy. And it’s also beautiful to look at. I love it!

This is so cute. I bought it because of the size and look. The flames are beautiful. I don’t use it for the heat just the ambiance it creates. It is not big so I suggest you pay attention to the measurements to make sure it’s right for you.

Although it's a bit smaller than I pictured, (my fault). The looks are great, has a lovely open fire appeal. Now, the heater unit. I understand this is basically a small space heater. I was absolutely amazed that this little heater provides enough air to keep our 450sqft living warm and comfortable. Even when the temps outside got down in the low 20s. Also note that this was the only heat being used at the time, we have not fired our big wood furnace up yet.

I have a large living room/dining room combo that is hard to heat. I was using an unattractive space heater that looked like a radiator.........it made the area near my recliner warm but was not at all attractive!! This fireplace came out of the box ready to go. I cut the box off of it and slid it onto the area I wanted it to be. Turned it on, it goes to 72 automatically. It is now heating up my seating area and feels wonderful. I do have one complaint,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.I asked if this came on wheels and the answer I got was yes. Mine did not come with wheels and it is heavy, wheels would make it easier on me to slide it out closer to my chair. I put furniture "sliders" under the legs and in the future will pay my handyman to attach small wheels. I only need to move it about 45 degrees from the wall it sits on, but it is heavy to be moving without wheels. Otherwise it heats wonderfully and I would recommend it for warming an area that is not too large. Also mine came in a tan color which is a perfect match to my light mocha walls!! It is very attractive for the price.

So I purchased Nov 2023(had a couple issues, but none that made me send it back). Dec 2024 the heater completely stop working, of course it was outside of the warranty window-which was also told to me by the company. So now I have an ornament as a faux fireplace/heater. Look elsewhere buy one with better reviews that isn’t returned often. Believe the poor reviews. This product won’t last, and is a waste of money!

the thermostat sensor is not properly place in the unit. thru trial and error, i figured this out. our room temp was 72deg. i set thermo to 74 and unit did not start to heat. i had to turn up to 76 before it would come on. what i noticed was even with out the heat on, the unit itself was warm (the front glass was warm and top of unit felt a little warm ) so i thought maybe it had to be the lights making the unit warm. so i turned off the flame so it would cool. i let it sit for one day without the flame on. then on the next day (room temp was still 72 deg.) i turned unit on and set thermo to 74. after a min or so the unit came on and started to heat like its supposed to. so thats what this review is about. the thermo sensor is registering the built up heat of the lights from the fake flame and causing the thermostat to not operate the way its supposed. unless there is a way to move the sensor from "feeling" the warmth of the lights, the thermostat is not going to work the way it should. no more than 3 star because of this.

I really liked the fact that it was completely assembled. All I had to do was plug it in! The box was heavy, but this 83 year old grandmother managed to "walk it" into the house and get the box open and get it set up - heavy for me to handle, but I did it!!! Yes, it is a little small, but I live in a patio home and don't really have room for a big one, so this one is perfect! I also had seen some comments about the bad smell, so I almost didn't order it because of that. However, there was hardly any odor at all when I turned it on and none now that I have noticed.
