The media could not be loaded. In my quest to find the perfect box to use for my vehicle tool kit, I stumbled upon this. When I first saw it, I was skeptical with it being a hybrid box (plastic/steel construction), but upon initial inspection it appears to be way better quality than all the previous ones I've owned! Starting of with the latches... most all metal boxes and even hybrid boxes, with this type of latch tend to be very loose and will rattle alot... this box latches TIGHT! The handle is also well made and doesn't rattle either which honestly surprised me considering most other brands rattle really bad. Next up is space, this box I got is the 16" version and since I intended to make this my Jeeps roadside tool kit, the one thing every tool kit needs... Sockets! And a good size range too! I currently have 2 sets of tekton 3/8 drive sockets on their included socket rail/trays and with a bit of wiggling, they fit nice and snug! Do note that since the edges of the box are rounded, the socket trays I have in it don't sit flat, however they sit lat enough for the upper tray sit flush as intended. Overall I'm very happy with the quality on my initial first impression! I'm certain that this box will last me a good while! ... show more

This little “tool box” is the perfect size for my light use storage needs. I would not recommend it for heavy tools as rivets are used to hold the plastic bottom in place. I keep mine indoors. For light duty it’s a 4 star box. If you’re looking for a heavy duty tool box I suggest looking elsewhere.

I bought this tool box based on it stating it was water proof. I wanted to use it with my camper. The first light rain we had the tools got wet. The upper try on the outside of the box and the try inside were very wet. It's not what is advertised. Very disappointed.

There's really nothing I disliked, although, haven't touched it since putting it away. It's lightness may cause people to think that it's flimsy, but works for me.
