I purchased this unit in order to replace an old fireplace with fewer features and not as beautiful and elegant as this one. This fireplace is sturdy, the finish is stunning, and has a very classy look. It came in good shape, well packed with Styrofoam and cardboard in 2 different boxes. The hardware was labeled, with few different sizes which made it easy to assemble, and the instructions are adequate and easy to follow. It took me and my husband about 2 hours to assemble the entire unit. We could have done it faster, but we took our time sorting and laying all the pieces out in order before beginning to assemble. All the pieces have labels attached and the only tool you need is a screwdriver. The fireplace/heater works great, has a wide range of settings that can be adjusted with the remote. Adjustable flame sizes are nice, and we already received many compliments. The entire living room has a new beautiful look. This fireplace was well designed, has high quality and it looks amazing. Love this fireplace. Assembly wasn’t difficult, arrived in excellent condition. Flames/logs providing look I was hoping for. Perfect size, quality materials. Secured it to the wall easily with provided bracket. Some reviews mention the stones look super fake, I thought they were completely fine. This product is big and sturdy! The easiest assembly required product I have ever put together. Use your own medium phillips screwdriver, while all screws and washer are the same size to go into pre-drilled receivers. The Real Flame insert is second to none. Excellent product well worth the price!

The media could not be loaded. This fireplace looks exactly like the pictures provided. It was easy for me to put together on my own in a little over an hour. Only thing it was missing was screws for the fireplace brackets. I had some so that wasn’t an issue. I highly recommend this fireplace. Other reviews state that the screws go the wood in the front, didn’t have that problem however one almost went through the top when installing the last board. Buy it!! Well worth the money. I'm a 55 yr old female and I put this together myself. There were missing holes, so I had to drill two. I bought this for the beautiful white 63" wide and taller mantel. I was going for a stately appearance. I'm happy with that. However, the firebox is no more realistic or impressive than any other, unless you've never seen real fire before. Very disappointed. I grew up with a real fireplace and these firebox makers don't seem to understand the concept of a "roaring fire" for comfort and ambience. 2/3 of the firebox is wasted dark space. Puny. I wanted to be able to adjust the flames to fill the whole space. Like a hologram. Honestly, you can watch a YouTube video of a burning fireplace and get more satisfaction. And another disappointment is the cheap stone grey facade. I wish it was fake marble and will do my best to somehow make it look better. That's on me, it looks exactly as tacky as it does in the picture. I was hoping it would look better in real life. I bought this knowing I would have to make my own improvements. That's how I buy things. But the upside is that as fireboxes improve, I'll be able to upgrade and switch it out. ... show more
