I actually installed it by myself, nd I’M ONLY 5’2” nd 165lbs although the front glass screen was quite heavy but I powered through W/O reading the INSTRUCTIONS & w/my strengths to get the job done.[I’ve previously installed one before.] I wouldn’t recommend lifting it by yourself if your a woman bc of the weight of the front glass screen, but if you wanna save installation money nd don’t wanna wait on your husband or your in good shape or otherwise for assistance than it surely can be installed w/ONLY one person available. Overall it’s Beautiful nd a GREAT VALUE!🤗 ... show more

    • Don't Even Waste the Time! Flames Look Like A Badly Executed CGI Effect...

Ordered this and was extremely excited to get it to place in a rather plush and "luxury-feel" master suite. I only had it out of the box for about 15 minutes and didn't even bother to take the plastic completely off before I reboxed it for a refund. It is CLEAR that the flame is not real. It looks like some type of cheaply done CGI effect. I only wish that I would have taken some photos or videos of it to post before I reboxed it to return, but I was so disappointed with it that I just couldn't wait to get it back out of my house and to the UPS store. I do NOT recommend this electric fireplace at ALL! The beautiful, realistic flames shown in the pictures on these sites are NOTHING like the actual flame. I almost am wondering if they shot a picture of a REAL flame for the pictures used instead. And the background you see in the photos behind the flames isn't that nice dark grey/black, but a weird maroon/burgundy color, which as you can imagine, adds to the inauthenticity of the flames' look. I will attempt to order another electric LED fireplace and hope it looks more realistic than this one, but I am not getting my hopes up at this point. The fireplace looks very nice on the wall being stainless steel. It does not put out very much heat though. We have a portable heater that is 1500 w and not very expensive and it puts out way more heat. Also the fireplace does not have a thermostat which is very disappointing. The last thing I will say is that the flames look pretty good but they're not very bright. We have it in a very small room and at night with no other lights on in the room the fireplace still is not very bright. ... show more

I absolutely love my faux fireplace. I don’t use it for the heater (although I may in the future). I use it for aesthetics and decoration. It has changed the mood of the room. The remote is a very nice feature. I got a great deal on buying it so I’m happy with the price. The only cons is that it is prone for having small indentions. If you look really hard there are a few very small ones. Also cleaning the residue from the protective plastic covering took a little more time and effort than I was expecting. However it was well worth it. One of the Best Buy’s I done in a while. I love mine! ... show more
