I purchased this clueless on how to use an incubator. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and there is basically no setup to do. It does rattle a little bit so you might want to put it in another room. It held temperature and humidity at the desired level resulting is lots of baby ducks. With very little effort using eggs laid over several days, our incubations consistently resulted in 11 healthy hatchlings from 12 eggs. However, when we tried the incubator several months later, the turning mechanism was frozen in place and could not be fixed. There may be issues with rust of the internal mechanisms. So, low marks for durability.

This is ok the roller feature works but dividers are thin some came bent. Emailed about a few more dividers or the option to buy replacements. Someone with a 3d printer could make bank on dividers. Cleanup is a pain. The whole time in lockdown this overheated which makes me think it actually has no thermostat safety just an arbitrary fan heat setting. Only in degrees C conversion to F was needed even dropping temp settings did not prevent overheating. I hatched 25 of 40 eggs and one had issues and died once out of shell I believe due to overheating. 2nd time around the temperature goes way high and low multiple times a day. Bought and used separate humidity temp meter. Bounces from 96.1 to 102 F throughout a day. Adjusting temp seems to not matter. Inconsistent at best. The plastic shell might look nice but insulation from heat or cold is much more important. I won’t buy another anything like this one.

Someday I’d like to get one with the pieces whole. Got this for a Christmas present and when opened I found that the wheel to automatically turn the eggs was broke. Started the return. Got the replacement with the same exact thing wrong.

The media could not be loaded. I kept heat on 38.6 and they hatched a couple days early. But out of 22, 18 hatched with the rest being either infertile or quit developing early on. Loved this and am thinking about buying another

only one problem, the water bath is on the bottom and does not hold much water needs to be filled every day.
