Unlike the inexpensive pool pillows that I have used, which almost always lose air through the winter, allowing the winter cover to sink into the pool, defeating the entire purpose of having a winter pool pillow in the first place, this pillow held up through the entire winter. The vinyl is much thicker, and the seams are better sealed. I expect that it will provide me many winters of use - just deflate and store until the next pool closing. I am very pleased with this product. It costs more, but is well worth the extra money! I wish that I had bought this sooner!

Good quality vinyl, and the little ruffle around the middle makes it much easier to get a hold of. There's two holes in the ruffle and two ropes come with it which also makes it easier to guide on the pool surface . The hole for pumping it up is large, but doesn't come with any kind of adapter so you have to figure out how to make your pump work with it. There might be a trick to it but there's no paperwork of any kind so if there is I couldn't figure it out. I was a little disappointed in the size – the 6 feet refers to the diameter of the pillow when it's laying flat. Inflated it's closer to 5 feet around and a little less than 3 feet high (see photos)

Update: Liberco sent a replacement very fast. Should be all set to go now. Changing rating due to them making it right. Thanks! I purchased a 4x4 pillow last year from this company and it worked great, so I decided to get the 4x8 for my new pool to close it this season. It deflated after only 4 days under my winter cover. Using Dawn, I was able to locate two holes. Both holes are right at the seams as you can see in the photo. Clearly a manufacturing defect. I bought it last month and just got around to closing my pool, so of course I fell just outside of the 30 day window. It stinks because the first one I purchased was great, but this one was just a waste of $50, and now I have to find another one from another company and close my pool all over again.

Not sized as advertised. 6ft. round is only 5ft. 6in. and NOT a ball shape but 2ft. tall. 10 ft. Round is NOT 10ft., but rather like 6ft. 6in. and missing fill cap and plug. Good heavy material, but somebody over in China doesn't know how to measure.

I had previously purchased the 4x4 pillow from this brand at it has held up thru 3 winters so far! So I then purchased the 4x8 size from same brand. For the first 1.5 winters, this thing held up great. However, around March/April of the 2nd somewhat milder than normal winter season, it started to lose air. After I opened the pool up this summer, I later blew this item up and examined carefully w/ a soap and water mix to see if I could tell where it is leaking air, I am unable to. The pillow's large size makes this task very difficult and it will hold air for about 3 days before it becomes noticeably deflated. I suspect the leak might be along one of the seams on the edges, but I am unable to locate it. I have recently purchased another brand for roughly the same cost that this item is currently selling for and will report back on that product's performance in due time.
