This television is awesome for the price! Definitely punches above its weight. Colors are vibrant. The black levels are a few shades more grey then an oled ( I have an lg cx, purchased for a family member) but it’s not distracting. Set up was easy. WiFi was set up with no problems. Sound quality without sound bar was also pretty decent. Cons: -Web Os, the interface although easy to use but is slow and lags. -construction is not to the standard of the higher end models but it doesn’t feel like it’s going to break. -some image break up can occur during in dark scenes with a lot of action but does correct itself. If you are on a budget looking for a quality television this one should be high up on your list of options. ... show more

I’ve had an LG TV for nearly 6 years that was only 43 inches and it worked wonderfully, but it finally started having trouble just recently so I replaced it again with a bigger screen size for 55 inch and I love it! For a minute, I bought a Google TV at TCL thing And I hated it. I absolutely hated it. The remote control didn’t have a numeric pad like this one does the brightness of it just doesn’t compare to LG! I’m losing my eyesight and it was so difficult because there were a couple of movies that I really enjoy watching that had night scenes that were so dark. You couldn’t even see the people! That doesn’t happen with LG. It’s wonderful easy to use great color superior sound you have so many choices it’s wonderful. I highly recommend this TV and this brand compared to most. I’ve never had a problem with LG and I’m hoping not to have one in so far so good with this one. I don’t see anything that could cause it except the beautiful color maybe going someday hopefully not for another five or six years. ... show more

Beautiful picture like all of my LG's have had. 4g, 65 inch. The OS is a little on the slower side but not really a problem, especially at this price. Sound is surprisingly good! Plays video games streamed over my physical Steam Box (yeah they are a rare item nowadays....haven't attempted to install the wi-fi version on the TV) for when my wife and I want to play Project Zomboid in couch co-op in the living room and not my cramped den. ... show more

    • LG 65”; HATING IT SO FAR

Short version: really unhappy just trying to set it up. Remote sucks. Needs a “magic” remote (purchase separately) that I didn’t know about. Longer version: I’m writing this in the midst of what is turning out to be a marathon set up session. I hate the set up screen, it’s all football and a lot of little images that I have to to figure out how to get to, there’s no Voice Command unless I have the magic genius remote control-which I was not told about before I bought this TV set, and the remote that came with it is crap. Overall, I hate the set up of this it’s ugly to look at. It’s inconvenient to use. I’m not even sure if the picture qualities are any good because right now I can hardly get access to anything. I finally figured out how to use YouTube, so I’ll be trying that out. I just don’t understand why I can’t get rid of apps I don’t use, like Hulu and Apple plus, etc., etc. I also don’t understand why I can’t get apps that I do use, like BritBox. So far, truly inconvenient, the picture may be OK, but it’s hard to tell at this point, and I’m just not liking it overall, which is so disappointing. I’m a huge LG fan, but I am really not liking this TV right now. If I can stand it later and I survive, I’ll write an update if anybody’s interested. But, FYI, if you like football or any other kinds of sports, I guess, you should be set with this television. ... show more
