  • Great smaller size Smart TV
I recently entered the world of streaming and cutting the cord. I replaced a 6 year old Samsung Smart TV in my office with a 55" LG TV. My old 50" went in the bedroom, but it was too large for the corner, and the smart features on that seemed really limited on not allowing me to add any further apps. So I replaced it with a 43" LG TV. I was trying to get the same series as my 55", but it was a 2020 model and hard to find it at a decent price. This 43" is an updated model, has all the current smart TV features, an awesome picture, and the sound is really good too for this smaller room. Of which I only use it at night and I keep the volume low. So the built in speakers are just fine. And I noticed that it has an extremely slim frame. So the TV looks real sleek and does not take up any excess space. One thing about the remote that I cannot figure out yet, is that it has no play/pause button like my 55" TV remote does. Haven't explored the voice commands yet, but I suspect they may work for that. I would recommend this TV for where you would like a smaller TV or in a smaller room where it better fits. Excellent price. Kind of phenomenal pricing when you look back about 15 years and 32" flat panel TV's were priced over $1000. Now a 43" with fancy features for $400. That is great. My 55" was on sale at Sam's for $419. So great deals overall. LG Smart TV's are a winner. ... show more

  • Wonderful viewing
I bought this 4K UHD 43" TV to replace my malfunctioning 39" TV. The price was very reasonable for such an excellent product. The color and focus are very good. The magic control remote takes patience to learn all the many things it can do. It is worth the effort. The only drawback I have is that for shadowy or dimly lit scenes, I have to close off light and reflection in the room in order to see the scene. Otherwise I highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • My now 2 year old LG 55” UHD TV is working as beautifully as ever.
I still get compliments on this TV two years after purchase. The picture is gorgeous and the settings are intuitively easy to find. I don’t have an Alexa but the TV downloads quickly wirelessly and there is an option to connect directly to the router via Ethernet cable if desired. I have no issues what so ever and highly recommend it especially as it was one of the more modestly priced 55” smart TV’s. ... show more

  • A good TV but................
I like this tv. I got the 75 inch model. It has a great picture. The sound system is weak, and the soundtrack or background music is louder than the dialogue a lot of the time. There are definitely NOT enough HDMI ports. I had to give up one input to run the sound bar I added. I like the USB ports, but if I had to choose between USB and HDMI, I would have wanted more HDMI ports. The remote is crazy. There's a floating curses that's nearly impossible to control. I much prefer the push buttons with arrows to move around the options, not aim the remote like a video game. I'm going to have to start looking at these products at Best Buy or Walmart before ordering. Oh, one more thing. The tv has a set of legs at each end, instead of a center stand. I had to buy a new TV stand because my table wasn't wide enough for the legs, even though it had held my other big screen with the center base just fine. Measure your table carefully if you go that route! ... show more

  • Worth the extra money.
We bought this unit for the cottage where we get regular HD over-the-air broadcasting and also have access to streaming services on the Web. It has a lot of cool functions that we are still discovering, but mainly, it allows access to the Web for surfing different sites, without proprietary restrictions, like Sony, for example, with its limited app list. And unlike the discount models from discount stores, this TV has better everything and there hasn't been one moment when we thought we should have gotten a cheaper or a more expensive model. ... show more

  • Great picture! Good sound. Easy set up.
Love it. So far was very easy to set up and connect. I changed router, two cable boxes and replaced older model TV in a half a day. NO problems. I was happy that all the cables and connectors I needed were available. I have NO complaints. I Have had several LG flat screen TVs for 13 years, so the controls and procedural steps were not new to me. ... show more
