This USB drive works perfectly and is very convenient. The dual USB-C and USB-A design makes it easy to transfer files between my phone, laptop, and other devices without needing extra adapters. It feels well made, the storage is reliable, and the speed is good for everyday use. Great option if you want something compact, simple, and practical for quick file transfers.

This has been a really useful little drive for my 3D printing setup. I use it to move files between my computer, phone/tablet, and printer, and having both USB-C and USB-A on one drive makes it way more convenient. The 256GB capacity is plenty for print files, photos, videos, backups, and random project folders. It’s also small and easy to keep with my setup without taking up space. So far it has been reliable, and I haven’t had any issues with files transferring or the drive being recognized. The only thing I’d say is because it’s small, I’d keep it somewhere safe so it doesn’t get lost. Other than that, it’s a solid value and perfect if you need one drive that works with newer USB-C devices and regular USB-A ports too.

I picked up this Lexar dual USB drive to simplify file transfers between my phone, tablet, and computer, and it has been an absolute game-changer for my workflow. The dual connector design with both USB-C and traditional USB-A means I can use it with virtually any device without needing adapters or dongles. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfer speeds are noticeably fast - moving large photo and video files that used to take forever now happens in seconds. The 128GB capacity gives me plenty of room to keep important files, backups, and media readily accessible without worrying about running out of space. The metal housing feels premium and durable, and the swivel design protects both connectors when not in use while keeping the form factor compact enough to stay on my keychain. The champagne silver finish looks sleek and professional, and the build quality is exactly what I expect from Lexar. I've been using this drive daily for months now, swapping files between my MacBook, Android phone, and iPad, and it has performed flawlessly every time. The swivel mechanism is smooth and feels like it will last for years of regular use. Having instant access to my files across all my devices without relying on cloud storage or internet connectivity has been incredibly convenient, especially when traveling or working in areas with spotty wifi. The drive runs cool even during extended file transfers, and I've had zero compatibility issues across different operating systems. For anyone who regularly moves files between USB-C and USB-A devices, this is an essential tool that eliminates so much frustration. ---

While the drive reads and writes quickly and without issue, the swivel mechanism feels really gritty and cheap. It's loud, loose, and feels like there's debris stuck in it the moment you pull it out of the box. No matter how careful you try and take care of it, nothing makes this grittiness go away and you're just stuck dealing with the icky feeling when going from USB C to A and vise versa. Additionally, while using the swivel, it squeaks. Not even a quiet squeak either, it's loud and annoying every time. Otherwise, heat isn't much of an issue, even under load it stays relatively cool. For the price, it gets the job done however I would really appreciate a bump in quality.

I bought this to transfer files from my overloaded phone. It was easy and pretty much a non-event. I am so pleased. A while back I bought a different one, an Omni-something, I think? It wouldn't work so I contacted the company and they said the Omni didn't work with Motorolas. I asked why they didn't let customers know that, and they said they didn't say anything because they didn't have a solution yet. Really? But this Lexar? It worked perfectly. Once I was finished downloading from my Android phone, I plugged it into my Mac and was able to look at everything. Ah, if only I had just bought the Lexar the first time. Well, I have now, and I couldn't be more pleased.

Good reliable drive. Having a usb c and usb a type connector makes it versatile. Handy for pulling images and videos off my pixel phone quickly if I don't want to bother emailing or moving the content online. Plenty of size and storage capacity. I've noticed it gets hot much faster when using the USB C connector but still works fine. Good transfer performance for this price point. Comes preformatted with the usual FAT32, 512 B sector size.

UPDATE The dual USB-C and USB-A function was very convenient for scanning PDFs with my Canon imageCLASS MFC laser printer with a USB-A port and then transferring to Mac computers over USB-C. I always used the safe ejection feature on the scanner and my computers, but about 4 months into ownership, I began getting occasional corrupted PDF scans. I think it is a problem with the Canon. I reached out to Lexar support, who guided me through recovery tools for the drive. In the end, the issue resolved itself with another scan run on the Canon and use of the safe eject media button on the Canon scanner. I'm not sure if it is the drive or the scanner, but since I always immediately back up my files, I'm not that concerned. It is only annoying when I have scanned 100 pages, safely eject the media and there is no file and/or the PDF is corrupted. I will play around with different scenarios to see what triggers this. Pros: Small size, nice design Loop for attaching a lanyard Dual USB-A USB-C design Cons: No dust cap for USB ends May not be reliable/play well with Canon imageCLASS MFC scanner/laser printer
