We said goodbye to the classic large vacuum a couple years ago and brought in the Levoit Cordless Vacuum. Best decision ever. Great price and functionality. Living in a small home with stairs, its perfect because it's light and overall easy to maneuver. Using the attachments make cleaning cars, furniture, and stairs very easy. The anti-tangle function is great in our house - no more cutting long hairs out of the 'brush' - it's easy to remove and clean but we rarely need to. The collection chamber is also easy to clean and do regular maintenance on. Easily stored in our small laundry room by an outlet to ensure it stays charged. The battery lasts through one extensive cleaning so you'll want to keep it plugged in if you vacuum regularly. A little under 2 years into use, the battery wasn't charging for us. I contacted Levoit customer service and they replaced the charging cord and battery for no cost. Great customer service! Highly recommend.

My Dyson ball needed replacing after almost 10 years and so while researching vacuums I came across this Levoit stick vac. Iโve never had a stick vac before nor a rechargeable vacuum. I decided to try it out as it only weighs 3.2# and I have had a recent upper body surgery where I cannot lift more than 10# for 6 weeks. I vacuum 2-3 times a week as I have 2 kids, a husband, a dog and a cat and two cannot stand a dirty floor! I am so completely impressed with this vacuum I felt compelled to write this review. Now honestly, I have found that I prefer a larger plug in vacuum so I have ordered another for my normal cleaning HOWEVER, this stick vac is awesome and I had send it multiple times thus far. I describe it as way stronger than a Dustbuster (and easier to use) but less strong than my previous Dyson. Itโs incredible though for its light weight. It easily goes under my dressers and picks up things incredibly well. I have had no trouble at all post surgery using this and it makes me feel accomplished that I can still do some things around the house without jeopardizing my recovery. I have even ordered a 2nd one of these for my downstairs area. I really love this vac, it is very easy to empty the dust bin and put together initially. PS it even sucks up dog food!! This is big because my dog makes a mess and even my Dyson did not pick up the random food bits without taking the hose portion out-this little guy sucks it all right up!!!

I have a huge, heavy and very expensive Miele vacuum which is a real task to haul out and attach the 8 ft hose so I hated vacuuming. I broke down and I bought this Levoit- This baby is fabulous. I got it 2 days ago and I';ve used it 3 times- I am having such fun with it. It is so light, goes around everything and the lights are a huge bonus, lets me see how much dust there really was in the house! It works like a dream, in fact when I went over the house again today (yeah, I love it and want to use it every day- I may need an intervention), and after the first pass yesterday, there was almost no dust in the canister (OK a paper clip)- so it really cleans well. I have a 1 BR apartment so the charge doesn't run out, even on the highest speed, but it's easy to charge after using each time so I am always ready.

The little vacuume the could

We just replaced most of our flooring to LVP and wanted a lightweight vacuum to be able to get the doggie tumbleweeds we have from our 2 golden retrievers. Ive been horrified to realize after no longer having carpet how quickly it accumulates and so we needed a solution stat. The things I love: It was very easy to put together, super easy to empty once full, the battery lasts no problem through one cleaning and then I immediately charge after use. Its super lightweight, goes well under furniture and the light on the front is super helpful. I like how the charger is on the detachable battery itself so I can charge just the battery and have the vacuume put away. Powerful enough to get all the leaves, dirt and dog hair and the rotating bar removes super easily if needed. It also stays upright on its own which is super nice, no need to lean it against a wall or furniture if you need to pause. The major flaw: Im glad I didnt really need this vacuume for the handheld attachments because they are basically useless. Once the vacuume attachment is removed the seal on the handheld pieces are hot trash and there is hardly any suction. So I need to switch to my large clumsy vacuume for my couches and fans. It would be horrible for a car. That being said I still really love this vacuume because it works great for what I need it for primarily which is a quick clean with an easy to manuever nonclunky vacuume and the pros far far outweigh the cons for me. This is coming from someone who has had MANY vacuumes over the years...

WAKE UP!

Guys, this vacuum is a total rip off. For the $200 price tag, this thing is a JOKE. My mom bought this and was happy with it, but she has no idea what a rip off it is. There are two specs (specifications) you want to look for when purchasing a vacuum: watts, and kpa. Watts is the amount of power it consumes, and kpa is the amount of suction force it can generate. They are not directly proportional, but they are related in the sense that more power consumption (watts) will typically give you more suction force (kpa). So what does that mean for this vacuum? The lvac-200 model of this vacuum is only a 180w vacuum. In the context of what wattage and kpa other vacuums are making, thatโs a JOKE! They donโt even advertise the kpa, because at that wattage rating itโs probably next to nothing. If you look at other cordless vacuums, they are rated as high as 800w and 60kpa, which is a respectable rating given that expensive corded vacuums are typically pulling around 1,100w. Youโll rarely, if ever, get the same ratings as a corded vacuum from a battery powered cordless one, but 800w is pretty close, and the best Iโve found so far. PLEASE stop googling things like โbest cordless vacuumsโ when youโre making decisions as to what you want to buy. Thereโs an article that pops up that lists this vacuum as their first choice, and guys, this thing is a JOKE! Do you know why the article listed this first? Because this company paid them to! Thereโs even a direct link in the article that leads to this Amazon product page so you can purchase this vacuum. And do you know why this vacuum is near the top of the search results when you search for cordless vacuums on Amazon? Because this company pays Amazon to put their product at the top of the search results! That is NOT my โconspiracy theoryโ or anything like that. That IS how this works, and thatโs why most products at the top of the Amazon search results says โsponsoredโ next to them: because theyโre paying to have their product near the top. Now all that said, how is the company paying for all of this advertising? By charging YOU $200 for this JOKE of a vacuum cleaner!! PLEASE catch on that the philosophy of these companies is that as long as you see their product first, thatโs the one youโll buy, so they pay a ton of money to advertise it so that youโll see it and buy it, and they pass the cost of that advertising on to you in the price of the product youโre buying. Thatโs why this piece of GARBAGE costs $200: because itโs a $50 vacuum cleaner with $150 of advertising costs stacked on top! In summary, I returned this junk on my momโs behalf, and I ordered her a new cordless that comes with 2 batteries, pulls 800w, and suctions with 60kpa. Itโs more than double what this vacuum is, and it was about $40 less than this one. I hope anyone reading this WAKES. UP. and stops throwing their money away on garbage. Have a little self respect! Why do you allow these companies to sell you junk at an exorbitant price? When making any purchase decision, stop relying on a third party review, and instead learn the specs that are relevant to what youโre purchasing (watts and kpa), find products that meet those specs (800 watts and 60kpa) and then pick the one that has the better features (like extra attachments or two batteries, for example). THAT is how you make a good decision and get your moneys worth. THIS piece of garbage is a prime example of the power of an effective purchase funnel, and thatโs ALL this is: effective advertising! I hope this helps someone make informed decisions and get their moneys worth out of their products in the future.

Lightweight, Powerful and Excellent for Bunny Hair and Hay :)

I bought this mainly to keep up with the constant mess that comes with having bunnies, and Iโve been very impressed. Between bunny hair, stray pieces of hay, pellets and the little bits that end up around their area, Iโm vacuuming constantly. This makes it so much easier. Itโs lightweight and cordless, so I can quickly grab it and clean around the bunny area without dragging out a full-size vacuum. It does a great job picking up both fine bunny hair and pieces of hay, which was especially important to me. Iโve also been impressed with the anti-tangle brush because pet hair can be a nightmare with some vacuums. The suction is strong for a cordless vacuum, itโs easy to maneuver around furniture and pet areas, and the dust bin is simple to empty. I find myself reaching for this vacuum all the time because it makes those quick daily cleanups so convenient. If you have rabbits or other pets that shed and make a mess with hay, this is definitely worth considering. So far, Iโm extremely happy with it and would purchase it again.

Finally! A vacuum under $300 that works

I have owned 4 cordless vacuum cleaners in as many years. The first was not a stick cleaner and worked well, but it was heavy and awkward and didn't get into tight spaces. It was so heavy, it didn't get used as much as it should have. I then bought two other stick-type vacuums, both were light and easy to maneuver, but didn't suck up the dirt - kind of a necessary function for a vacuum cleaner. My daughter has a Dyson, which I have used. The Dyson is definitely quality, but much heavier and not as easy to operate. Surprisingly, I prefer this vacuum to the Dyson. When I bought this Levoit, it was Wow! I found one that works. I bought it specifically because I have a Levoit air filter and I love it. I figured they were a quality manufacturer and I was right. I waited for a few weeks to review the vacuum to ensure that it continued to perform well. It has. As for the pros and cons - Pros: 1) it is very lightweight and easy to carry around the house. 2) Emptying the dust cup is super easy and doesn't make a mess. The dust cup removes with a simple push of a button and reattaches just as easily. I fought constantly with the prior vacuums to empty the dust cup and generally ended up covered in the dirt I had just vacuumed up. This dust cup is so easy to empty that there's no mess. 3) IT SUCKS! in the best way. No more going over the area 4 or 5 times and still leaving visible dirt. 4) It works well on hardwood, tile, and carpeting. I have hardwood floors with area rugs everywhere, and it moves without a hitch between carpet and bare floors. 5) The anti-hair wrap works like a dream. I have very thick hair that I was constantly pulling out of the brush when I vacuumed. I have not had to yank the hair out of the vacuum head once - a big deal to me. I don't have pets, but I assume it would function the same for pet hair. 6) The battery life is perfectly adequate for me, but it does help that I have a smaller house. I use it mostly on maximum suction, so it doesn't last a long time. But I believe this is generally the case for most cordless stick vacuums - most reviews for these stick vacuums complain about the battery life. I think it's a tradeoff for the lighter weight. It's a compromise I am willing to make. But if you are comparing similar items, the battery life is equivalent to any of the others I have used. 7) I LOVE that it stands up by itself! This was a dealbreaker for me. I hate to have to lean the vacuum up against something in the middle of vacuuming when you have to move something out of the way. 8) I like the light on the vacuum head. It helps to see the floor in areas that aren't brightly lit. 9) It does, in fact, lay all the way down so you can get under furniture. 10) There's virtually no assembly required. It probably took 30 seconds to put together, max. Cons: 1) The only small negative that I can see is that the long tube does not adjust up or down. However, I am a tall woman (5' 9"), and it works well for me - it comes up high enough to be comfortable. So for me, this isn't a negative. Overall, I can't say enough positive things about this vacuum. I would choose this vacuum every time over any other that I have used. If you are trying to choose between this Levoit and another brand, I highly recommend the Levoit.

I have a love hate relationship with this cordless vac -- I've had it a year and use it regularly.

I use it mainly in a seasonal home I clean 1x/wk, which is a massive farmhouse on an unpaved road -- hardwoods and tile throughout with massive old school woven wool area rugs in most of the rooms that are gorgeous, delicate and in near pristine condition for their age. It would cost me an ivy league education to replace them. And, they all have fringe *ugh*. It's lightweight cleaning, most dust due to its location. No pet hair. My home is another story. There are no adults living here. But, there are 2 full time shedding pets with regular usurpers who apparently live in barns when otherwise not visiting. What irks me & compelled me to write a review: 1. The accessories are poorly designed, especially the dusting tool & crevice tool, which they combined into one. It makes using the crevice tool nearly impossible to use for its intended purpose -- to get deep down into tight spaces. And the dusting tool is so far out, there is no suction. It just collects the cobwebs and the brush head wipes the dust. No vac assist. *Designed by a man* Still, I use the dusting tool along the edges off the flooring and one the wood slat blinds. 2. The suction is disappointing -- ok, its so below average, it verges on frustrating, even for a relatively inexpensive vac at this one's $150 price point. (I have the 200 Model, I cannot speak on the 300 Model). The range from low to high is negligible on suction power, but it gets louder so you think you are accomplishing something. 3. Pulling the base (floor attachment) from the hand unit to use the accessories is a major pain in the keester and results in a minor injury 40% of the time. I have a feeling of dread just thinking about it. This is in fact, my #1 gripe with this unit. 4. It is also really easy to push the wrong button and have the cannister fall down onto your bare toes. That was fun. 5. The battery takes a really long time to recharge -- like half a day. Why I use it all the time ... *my hypocrisy* 1. IT HAS A LIGHT!! For the life of me, I do not know why a light is not absolutely mandatory on every vacuum in the land. Honestly, what are we doing? 2. The vac lasts 30min longer than my fave stick vac, the Samsung Jet 70. I love that stick vac, but on high, it only last about 15 min. Alas, my fave vac does not have a light. 3. I (foolishly) have a couple of washable rugs in my office and the spare bedroom. (I have a whole diatribe about Capitalism and the worthlessness and rip off of machine washable area rugs. WhoTF is putting an 8x10 rug in a washing machine? But, I digress ... ) This is the only brush vac that will vacuum these rugs -- not well, but will get minor debris off the top. My Sebo Dart sucks too hard on the flimsy carpet (even with the brush off) it thinks its jammed all the time and the Jet 70 also pulls too hard on the material, it it just moves the fine pet hair like a lint brush, but because the material is so thin, the brush head cannot roll to pick it up. 4. This vac is also the best one for the fringe edges and top of the more delicate wool area rugs -- picks up minor debris and the vac is weak enough that the I can "comb" the fringe with the brush roller without damaging either. It also does not damage the carpet itself due to its lack of suction. 5. The battery does not require a charging dock, so I can remove the battery and just plug that in anywhere. I've found this to be enormously convenient. The replacement battery is also super affordable. All in all, I give it a 5/10 -- it's overpriced, but I've found a niche use for it, so I use it all the time. Terrible for pet hair, not great for standard carpets, ignores anything larder than dust, but for the extreme ends of area rugs, its working for me. I only use it on the hardwoods because it transports so easily and has a light -- I would use literally anything else, but I refuse to carry multiple vacs. I do not use it on stairs -- my patience is already minimal. I will add, because we all know the brand, this vac is still 1000% better than any DirtDevil, ever.
