Want a portable EV charger that matches your need, this is certainly an option. I just unboxed it and plugged it into my 240 vac 50 amp plugged and it was ready to charge. Mine is 40amps, but there are several amps ranges to meet you EV requirements. It come with a storage bag that keeps it portable if or my away from home charging needs. You can find various plug adaptors to use from 20, 30, 50 amps available on Amazon to meet special needs. But my stock use is 40 amp and it charges my batteries up from 61% to 100% in just 4 hrs. Very pleased. Strongly recommend this charger.

This is a really nice charger for a J1772 port EV that I would like to note has certain requirements in your garage, or wherever you put it. You do need a 220-240v outlet that offers high amperage - 20A per side minimum - just like your dryer has, but slightly higher amperage. The plug type (and manual) tell you all that you need and this will need to be wired to your fusebox by a professional electrician, or, if you're handy, you can do it yourself - just make sure your home service is ample to handle existing load plus this, or you'll have whole-house blackouts, or worse. Once it's connected, it's great. We were set up with sufficient service to an outlet, and all we needed to change was the plug type (pigtail) by an adapter - we already had more amperage on the circuit than required. Charger works great and connects with 3 different vehicles we tried, including 2 versions of Ioniqs. Great results. FAST charging without any heating sufficient to cause thermal throttling. Plug locks into port beautifully, and cable is nice and long so cars can be either direction in the garage and it reaches the port, even on the far side of the car. Wonderful high-amperage charger. I think it's best to buy this charger first before wiring up your garage/house for the power so you are certain to meet the power needs and put in the correct type of 220v plug and thus avoid having to re-wire everything. Other than that, it's all plug-and-play SIMPLE and I really like the speed of charging at 40 Amps - you can do one car in the evening and switch over to another car before bedtime and be fully charged in the morning. Brilliant! I recommend this great charger.

I've had a good experience with EVJUICION ev chargers. I've got a more full featured one at my office but was pleased to pick up this unit as a portable for my trunk. It doesn't do anything earth shattering but it does give you everything you need in a portable charger. It's got all of the certifications (CE, FCC, UL) that you want and is also certified IP67 waterproof. It'll stand up to the elements just fine although the product description warns to avoid 'soaking the charger in water'. Good advice, I guess. The charger operation is pretty basic but does what it does well. It has a 21 foot cable, ajustable amps and a NEMA 14-50 plug. The LED screen is simple but works well. It's well made and has all of the protections you'd expect from a quality unit (eg: undervoltage, leakage, short circuit). Depending on your needs it would even work as a home charger though I use it as a portable. Even comes with a case. Decent charger at a decent price. Recommended.

This is a great higher power level 2 charger at a fair price. My electrician advised to use a 60 amp breaker and wiring appropriate for 60 amps due to the long duration of some charges where the unit will draw 48 amps the entire time. This charger quickly ramped up to 11.4 Kwh and stayed there for the duration of the charge. I am using this for a 2023 Ioniq 5, absolutely no issues with the car or the charger complaining. I have the full 48 amps set which is the maximum rate the car can accept for AC charging. Easily adapted to a hard wiring install or keep the NEMA 14-50 for portable use. I prefer the hard wire solution. The charger came with everything I need and a nice long cord between charger and the J1772 car plug. I recommend this charger.

Nice, powerful EV charger. Installed a 14-50 outlet with 6AWG THHN wire and a 50A breaker, since this is 40A output. You want the output to be 80% of breaker capacity by code, so you should have 50A supply for this 40A output, otherwise you need to reduce the output, which you can also do very easily (but why spend the money for the extra output if you're not going to use it). Comes in a very nice carry case, and overall very happy with the charger.
