The product arrived quickly. All the parts were there. It went together quickly. It helps having 2 people to build it. The chicken wire/netting was a little flimsy. We have a lot of predators so we wrapped hardware cloth around the bottom 2 feet. The stakes to hold it down were a little flimsy so I bought some 10" spikes to secure it. And we had a severe thunderstorm with 60+ mph winds and the structure withstood it. Even the thin taro they sent survived without tearing. We built a small enclosed coop inside for the chicks. Gives our birds plenty of room and they absolutely love it, but I don’t love the door or the chicken wire that it comes with. When I bought this, I knew I would have to get different wire. The sides are short, but in the middle it’s tall enough. I wish the frame was just a little bit more sturdy. Two of the pieces that came in the package were broken, but we worked our way around it. We spent over 6 hours building the coop. Overall not a bad product if you plan on changing the wire. The chicken wire that it comes with will not protect anything! ... show more

The enclosure is sturdy but you will need to look up a video on how to assemble and you’ll definitely want to buy different chicken wire.

We bought this to put over raised beds to keep deer and chickens out. It was easy to assemble and perfect for our purpose. The raised beds are down the sides so we can walk down the middle standing up. If you plan on using for chickens, the wire is very light duty and not predator proof. If you keep them locked up at night in a secure coop inside the pen it would be fine. ... show more

I usually rate a 5 or a 1 star, but this one was a little more complicated. I bought this for rabbits, so we could have them run around instead of being in individual hutches. I built my own door out of 2x4's as the one it comes with has large gaps. It was easy and cheap. Just build a door frame with 2x4s, attach it to the metal pipe using u-bolts, measure what you end up with and build a quick door to fit that. The wire it comes with is laughable. I used it on the roof so hawks & owls couldn't get in but I put heavier gauge 1x1 wire around the walls & floor and fastened that with steel zip ties I bought on amazon. The frame goes together EASY. An hour or two depending on how drunk you are. But I probably spent a week on the wire part. The wire I bought is stiff, you're doing a lot of awkward kneeling, and it's very tedious. Had I used the wire that came with it, it would have gone a lot faster. But that wire won't keep your animals in or your predators out. I could probably chew through it myself. The cover is stupid. I bought a few dog houses and put them in there for shelter. Do not attempt to cover this. The weight of a good snowstorm or rainstorm or windstorm on the cover may collapse the frame. Doghouses work for my rabbits. You need more than one. If I were using it for chickens, I'd probably buy a cheap pre-made coupe and assemble this contraption around it. This is a run for small animals. It is not a shelter and cannot be converted to one unless you're building your own frame which would defeat the purpose of buying it. ... show more

The quality of the frame is very good (I've purchased two of these myself for my turkeys). The wire is not so protective though. It was quite flimsy. My birds were able to break in some places during attempted installation, and this concerned me as it would not protect the flock from predators at all. I replaced the wire with hog panel along the sides and tinted greenhouse panels for the roof. The price is fair for the frame alone though, in my opinion. ... show more
