So far so good, so very good.

My mom wanted to get rid of her black electric potbelly looking fireplace that looks very dated. She asked if I could mount her 55 inch flat screen, put up shelving and find an electric fireplace that would match well. I found this one with several different colors of flame as well as several colors
for the "ice" at the bottom. Well if she wasn't just blown away by the whole project. She was so happy. I think the best part that she liked was the fireplace. The only thing about this fireplace to note is that it is quite heavy. What I ended up doing since none of the holes to mount ended up where a stud was, I ended up finding a stud then measuring on the mounting bracket where it was. Then I drilled an extra hole there and used a 2 inch screw in addition to the 6 plastic sheet rock anchors. This gave it the extra strength I felt was needed to keep it safe. So to the manufacturer, you might want to consider adding holes all the way across for those who do not have drill bits a drill and the additional construction knowledge to make it safer. So yes, over-all I do recommend this fireplace. Thank you.

Udpate...they became very responsive and issued me a full refund We bought this in December of 2022 not even 6 months later it doesn't work and when I contacted customer service their response is to send me a control board to fix myself without them even knowing if that's what's wrong with it

It works great! The heat output warms up approximately 500 sq ft finished basement area. It is quiet and does not interfere with watching tv. There are plenty of color options to choose from. The only drawback (minor) is the remote control is a bit clunky to use. I highly recommend this fireplace. In
stalling it was simple. It took me about an hour to wall mount.

Take the glass face off right away.

I haven’t installed it yet. Currently building the frame. I ordered prior to Xmas and had not gotten around to opening the box until today/mid Feb. I plugged it in and it works as it should. I took the glass face off to insert into the recessed space and noticed the bottoms was bent in. Not sure if t
hat will affect it once installed but will post the final product with a new rating when it’s installed. BOTTOM LINE: check it out right away in the event it’s warped or broken on the inside. It’s too late to return in the event it’s operating poorly. More to follow!!

the lighting is pretty sweet, I usually favor red or green foreground and a blue background- yeah you can do that. 1500 watts heat output max- standard for electrical heaters, more power is phrohibited by electrical safety code. Far larger than necessary or practical, but very very pretty.
