This is an inexpensive 20-inch ceiling fan with light kit. As a 60 year old woman with basic tech skills, I found the instruction booklet and video easy to understand. All of the tools required for installation were included in the box. I chose this fan precisely due to its small size. I had no problems lifting this lightweight fan overhead for installation. The holding hook was incredibly helpful and allowed me to connect wiring effortlessly. The fan is not loud and has surprisingly good airflow at higher speeds. Level 2 offers sufficient continuous airflow to make the HVAC feel like it's working upstairs. The lighting changes from cool to warm tones. The remote works great. Solo installation took about 2 hours but I took a lot of breaks during that time. If you can focus attention, you could probably get it unboxed and installed in less than 30 minutes. ... show more

I cannot say enough about this ceiling fan/light. It works fantastic! I have had it about 6 months now and never lets me down. We replaced a standard ceiling fan with this because the profile is close to the ceiling, the fan is enclosed so you can't get hit by the blades and it looks stunning. The light is dimmable in which my husband and I change depending on who entered the kitchen first. I love things super bright, he is more of a dark and dim guy. The fan is also super efficient. You can have it on low or put it up to super speed and you wont hear anything! Although made of plastic, you would think it would be easily broken. It is not. Awesome fan and perfect size! It’s pretty quiet and has lots of different speeds as well as dimming. Now I will say the dimming at its lowest isn’t really that low and it says the lowest is 10% which feels more like 50%, and thats the only thing I would say I’m not a big fan of. It is very bright and lights up the whole room way better. The assembly was pretty easy and fit right into where the light bowl used to be. The app control is very easy I had to struggle to figure out how to connect it to Bluetooth but all you have to do is make sure the light switch is on, turn it off with the remote provided and then turn it on using the app. This definitely made my room look better. ... show more
