The media could not be loaded. I'd received this fan through Amazon's Vine program, but like it so much that I ordered another one for the bedroom! We hung this one in the living room, and it's soooo much sleeker than the big honkin' traditional ceiling fan that came with the house. It's white in color, and the LED lights around the circumference remind me of icicles. The fan blades are clear in color. The fan itself is small, but boy can it move some air! It has 8 speed settings, from a soft, gentle breeze to quite windy! The fan can be reversed from winter/summer right from the remote control. The lights can also be fully adjusted, from a soft dim light, to quite bright! The remote control comes with batteries, and even includes a mounting bracket in case you want to have a place on the wall to store it. It has a timer and a nightlight as well. It says you can download an app to control it, but I haven't done that. The remote control is quite sufficient. I love how much more flexible it is than a standard fan, with all the different settings, and it doesn't hang down from the ceiling like a traditional fan. First, we have limited light in our 90s kitchen, island light, sink light and stove light are it. That being said, the 5 bulb chandelier i had was a bit brighter. So that is why it is only 4 stars. I love that the fan blades are tinted, as it is in the kitchen and more than likely oily residue will occur and clear will not take that well. The style feels transitional and goes well with my chrome and black appliances. I enjoy the 3 tones of light and dimming.
