Not a bad bike for what I paid. Flat black color easily mares so be careful with that. Minor damage on one brake hand leaver from shipping. Fenders are bent but resist any kind straightening attempts. No assembly tools supplied. Generally quality is just OK. Nothing stands out. I have bought 3 bikes in the last month. Little Girls schwin, boys Huffy, and this. All have the same parts. The huffy was in the best condition overall and had assembly tools included. Nice paint too. Schwin is not what it used to be. Have one from 30 yrs ago that is still in good shape w better hardware. This not so much. Some r selling this same bike for hundreds of dollars more. Certainly not worth it. ... show more

It's not a bad looking bike when you get it together but it would be nice if everything actually worked. The derailleur was way out of adjustment for something that was supposed to be adjusted from the factory but that's not the big issue. The big issue was me trying to find out why while rotating the pedals this would bind up randomly and why the sprocket cassette was so wobbly. So after wasting a whole day of trying to fix this thing and it's cheap garbage Chinese bearings I had to start a return but guess what You got to have a box to do return. Here's the problem The wheel hub assembly and cones are not installed properly and are over torqued causing a binding about every 3/4 of a rotation. And unless you got the right tool to disassemble the cassette pull the bearings apart which are loose bearings packed in shipping grease not even packed in bearing grease, your SOL. Amazon I'll give you 30% off that'll barely cover a replacement hub of decent quality let alone the labor to do it. So you're only choice is to get a replacement waste a whole day trying to fix the one that you got and then when the replacement gets here hope that that one doesn't have the same problem. About another Schwinn bike for my daughter and it is absolute trash too avoid this brand it is not what it used to be. ... show more

Arrived on time. The packaging was normal. No sign of damage or scratches. I have to take it to a bike shop to true the wheel or make it a circle. The wheel won't turn past 160 degrees because it hits the brakes. Hopefully the bike shop can repair this. I haven't been able to ride yet. I'm a novice so I don't know if this is normal. Will update. Update. Front and rear tires both were retrued. Found out that this is very common in bikes that are mass produced. Cost additional 60$. Purchased for my husband who is very happy with the bike. "Rides like a cadillac". So far, put about 60miles on it. Will purchase again for my sons. ... show more

I love my new bike. I'm 63 and I'm able sit straight up and ride. The seat was uncomfortable so I replaced it with a wide seat and it is perfect for me now. I ride it 5 to 10 miles per day almost everyday. Out of the box it took about 45 minutes to put it together. Couldn't be more happy with it.

I had just purchased this bike a few days before. My son liked it so much that he asked for one for a graduation gift. We got it even faster than the first. Box was sealed, and all parts came wrapped. However, when we took the wrapping off, we suspect that the bike was used previously. There are scratches and paint chips all over it. I took more pics, but some were too small for camera to pick up well. The imperfections were clearly evident to the naked eye. We like the bike, and there is nothing mechanically wrong with it, but we are disappointed in the quality control of either Schwinn or Amazon…or whoever boxes this. My son didn’t want to send it back because this is his eighth grade graduation gift, but this is super disappointing. ... show more

The handlebars were severely scratched when received. The front brake assembly was so tight that when I was connection the front wheel the brake assembly actually broke. One trip to the bike shop and $89.00 later, I have a nice bike.
