Love my new ceiling fan so much! This is exactly what I wanted. Sometimes I have guests over who want the ceiling fan on when we are eating in my dining area. I really hated the big ceiling fan, and dusting the huge blades. I personally didnt like the old ceiling fan, as it had small bulbs and didnt produce much light. This new Lediary fan uses regular size light bulbs. My sister put it together and installed it for me since she knows more about that than I do. We took the old one down and had this installed in less than 30 mins. The fan is super quiet, and has a forward and reverse function, so in the Winter months you can warm your house better using the reverse function. It also has timer settings, and you can have just the light on, or just the fan on. The remote is sleek and hangs on the wall. The one piece fan blades unscrews for easy cleaning. I may replace all the ceiling fans in my house with these! ... show more

It works great!!! I feel a breeze from the fan. I think it’s slightly louder than the old ceiling fan but not disruptive at all. Kinda nice white noise. Cant beat the price. The fan part is plastic but blends well with the outside metal cage. Tedious to put together but worth it

We've replaced 2 of our ceiling fans, as well as a hallway/ stairwell ceiling light fixture with three of these specific fans/lights. WOW - what a difference in this newer technology compared to traditional bladed ceiling fans. They don't hang down as low as a traditional fan, and really wasn't much bigger than the hallway light housing which was replaced. Much better airflow. And the changed aestetic makes the rooms feel so much bigger. We've also replaced two other fans with similar sized (but different color) caged ceiling fan/ lights. I really like this fan. In the old houses like mine is, the old fans were obtrusive and ugly, and you had to duck to keep from hitting your head on the chain that you used to turn it on. This fan is remote controlled. It dims, I love that and it has six speeds on the fan. I love that it’s pretty but small and hugs the ceiling just the way I wanted it. if you expect to be able to see it in a large room the room will swallow it up. In my bedroom, which is pretty big, it blends in with the ceiling, but that’s what I was going for. Very pretty the only dislike I have about it is that the ceiling fan blades are clear and if you live on a dusty road, you’re gonna have to clean the blades about once a month, other than that I’m perfectly happy with it. ... show more
