This fan/light combo impressed me from start to finish. It's clear that attention was paid to both design and functionality. The build is sturdy and well-made, yet light enough for use in a gazebo or pavilion. Assembly was a breeze thanks to clear easy-to-follow instructions. The finish is attractive and appears durable, giving the unit a high-end feel. Once running, the fan performs beautifully. It offers six distinct speed settings — each one noticeably different — and the highest speed is surprisingly powerful for its size. Even at full power, the fan remains impressively quiet, with only minimal noise on level 6, and far less than expected based on other fans I've used. The lighting is another high point. At full brightness, it's more than sufficient, and the ability to dim it across multiple levels is extremely useful and well-executed. The remote control is simple, reliable, and even comes with a handy wall bracket. The extra-long power cord was a nice bonus — no need to mess with an extension cord. I also appreciated that the fan runs without any wobble or vibration, even at top speed. That kind of smooth performance speaks to solid construction. The light cover is plastic rather than glass, which feels a bit less premium than the rest of the unit. This may be for safety. And it would be great to see an RGB LED option in future models for those who want more customization in lighting. All in all, though, this fan offers outstanding value. This fan was easy to install and a perfect addition to our gazebo. It gives off a great force of cool air that's needed on those hot days. I love being able to change the speed to what I need. I also enjoy the different light settings. It can be super bright or dim.

This fan was great in a lot of ways; but as several reviewers said, unless you're standing directly UNDER the fan, you won't feel any breeze. I may have to return it for that reason, but there's a lot of like about it. It was easy to install; the remote feature is great; the cord was long enough to run that through my gazebo into the outlet without using an extension cord; the light is very bright on its full setting. But flexible enough to dim and change from white light to yellow light. If it wasn't for the fan issue, I would highly recommend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Installed in our 12x14 gazebo and it is perfect for that area. The fan move plenty of air and makes the hot days much better. Very quiet, even on high there is almost no noise level. The light is great as well; you can control from a daylight to a soft white, and you can dim the light as well .
