I recently installed two 25' strings for an outdoor party and like them a lot. They look and function great. One remote can control both strings and the strings have connector plugs so that they can be linked together if desired. An extra bulb was included with each string. The remote has excellent dimming capability and is easy to use. It provides good overall illumination, but is not overly bright on the max setting. The plastic LED bulb housing makes the string lightweight and shatterproof which is important as glass string bulbs are easy to break when installing. When it came I was surprised how small the box was and opened I was concerned it was going to be more wire than lights. But it worked out very well for my screen porch. The bulbs being none glass is great and the dimmer is a plus. The only complaint I have is that only one spare bulb came with the set. It would have been nice to have at least three. Will see how they last as time goes by ... show more

I purchased these to go under the roof of my deck pergola. They give a wonderful glow and I especially like 4 levels of brightness and the remote. I also like that the bulbs are plastic. Less prone to breakage. I haven't quite figured out the timer function yet. I think, if the brightness setting is changed after setting the timer, the change overrides the timer. I set the timer for 3 hours, but within that time period, dimmed the bulbs brightness. Well after the 3 hours had passed, the lights were still on. ??? ... show more

When we purchased these lights last year, they worked great. Winter came so we unplugged them, but left the lights still hanging underneath the gazebo. This year we plugged them back in and there’s no power. We followed troubleshooting and also try to get in contact with the seller, but no one has reached back out to us. I quite regularly enjoy sitting in our screened in porch before bed but it was always too dark. So I went shopping for some lighting options and found these. With the help of my partner and some command strips, the whole insulation took 1 hours and was really easy. I love the brightness settings and durability. I had dropped the bulbs multiple times accidentally but no shattering at all. We've also had a few huge storms these past months and the bulbs have held up to their word of durability. These lights are very sturdy. I have them hung around my patio and they add just the right festive touch. I love the remote control. I can turn them on and off manually, or use one of two preset times to turn lights off in 3 or 6 hours. U can control the brightness(25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%) and the mode- on, flashing, or glowing.
