Simple to charge, and convenient for storage with the way the lights retract into the unit. The various light modes is another nice feature! The only disappointment was that it is not made to run both the center spotlight and the string lights at the same time. I love this because it has a USB charging port and a super secure magnetic backing. It works well for camping with electrical hook ups. I plugged it in at the electrical site and the string pulls out and decorated half my campsite. It would be better if they put the off on button and the charging port on the side rather than the back. You cannot plug this in and then pull the string out. You have to pull the string out latch it and then plug it in. But besides that it's very cool ... show more

I already own one of these, ordered a second. This product is a complete bait-and-switch of products. What is different from the one I already own: First, the logo in the center is different than that in the pictures (Photo 2). Second, the plug for charging has no water resistant cover, as shown in the photo (photo 5). Third there is no USB-A port (photo 4). Fourth there is no light in the center of the base(photo 5). Fifth there are no magnets on the base (photo 5). Sixth the lights are only white, unlike the photos 2, 3 & 5. ... show more
