This pan is great to use on my glass top. Even though it is made for crêpes I use it for heating tortillas. I also use it for grilling grilled cheese sandwiches or anything else that needs to be grilled. It gets hot enough because it is part cast-iron, but it is still safe for my glass top stove. I would give it a 5, if not that my wife complains it is heavy... but that is kind of key to even heat distribution.
