It holds in heat super well, and conducts heat superbly both on the stovetop and in the oven. Its size means it's not intrusive in the fridge, and it is actually super easy to store! The heart shape made me a little nervous at first, but it doesn't create any hotspots at all. The gradient on the side is lovely, and the enamel inside stayed bright and flawless even after sitting on high temperatures for over an hour! I wanted this because it was SO cute and much smaller than my huge dutch oven. It works wells, cooking evenly, and was easy to clean. I regret not buying one sooner. It's great for one-two people. I made curry in it and it didn't stain, and I used it for apple cobbler as well (cooked the apples on the stove, dumped on the topping, and put it in the oven).
