Amazon sold this product within its packaging, but it was clearly mishandled before it was then put into the Amazon packaging. The product box was crushed, taped with clear tape, and sent to me. It surprisingly survived whatever happened to it before it reached me. I took a chance and brought this here ONLY because it was sold out everywhere else. It is a gift for my daughter. She hasn’t used the product yet, when she does I’ll write a review. With Amazon, if a product isn’t coming from the manufacturer or company itself, you should be aware and prepared that it may not come presentable or intact. This is an expensive product and it’s hard to find, even from the company itself. If you can get it from the LeCreuset store, or the company itself, do so. I’ve always wanted a Le Creuset pan and finally bought myself one. I love it. I needed a small one because they are iron pans and this one was perfect weight for me and small dishes. Love baking bread in it too. It looks great on my stove too.
