Great sturdy cookware. The color is really nice and mellow. The oval shape accommodates large irregular shaped cuts of meat. Food tastes so much better cooked in a slow oven. Pricey but shop for items when they discontinue certain colors.

This thing is amazing! I bought this so that I could cook larger cuts of meat and stews since my smaller Dutch oven can only handle smaller meals. The ability to sear then slow cook is amazing. Le Creuset is a expensive brand but you get what you pay for. The quality of their products are amazing it’s able to keep even heat retention with ease. If you want to cook a stew or roast for a large crowd or to meal prep this is the one for you. You can easily brown your meat then pop it in the oven or turn the stove down low and cook your stew or roast and get fork tender results with ease.
