Description

The low-profile and gently sloping sides of the Cast Iron Crepe Pan make it ideal for preparing traditional crepes, but also make it easy to flip stacks of pancakes, hash browns and fritters. The smooth black satin enamel requires no seasoning, and the circular cooking surface helps batter spread thinly and heat evenly. Includes an 8-inch rateau for spreading batter and a narrow spatula for easy flipping. My friend used my 8 year old Le Creuset crepe pan to warm tortillas, left it on a hot burner, and warped it in the middle; the crepe batter would no longer spread or cook evenly. We are still friends but he did not offer to replace my beloved pan, so we are not as close as we once were. I tried other pans and they did not have the perfect thickness, smoothness, and sheerness of the Le Creuset crepe pan that turned out perfect crepes every time. I bought this as a replacement and I am very happy with my new found love. It works just as well as my first one. The pretty colored enamel is a nice bonus adding emotional warmth my old one did not have. I vow to protect this one. I keep it in a locked cabinet so other friends can’t find it and potentially ruin our friendship over the love of perfect crepes and exquisite pans. ... show more

We kept an ugly, junky pan on the stove for the tortillas, pancakes, grilled cheese for the kids. Stayed out because we used it so much. Wife has got a bunch of Le Creuset stuff though and since we didn’t know what to get her for Mother’s Day we thought this would be a winner. Well made solid pan! Takes heat a lot quicker and gets hotter than other le Creuset cast iron enamel but that seems intended. Delivery was earlier than expected and packaged with priority on keep the product safe. I highly recommend this is my go to breakfast pan.

This pan is the most disgusting pan I had ever brought. I brought this most expensive cast iron pan thinking of the health benefits of using cast iron. And so brought this and the next day I used, started seeing a thin layer of paint like coating coming out. Thought might be it will go off after some time use, but using it everyday to cook pitas but everyday still that black color paint comes on my pita. Everytime I see that paint on my Pita, feel like I may get cancer eating those coatings. Also, after 1st use, behind the pan, some areas got black and even after multiple wash, it never went away. As shown in the pic. My return time is over and I am stuck with this expensive pan to my life time of not able to use it. Please check the pics of my pan in the course after few months ***Dear constomers please please do not ever buy this product as it’s not at all worth for the price. *** And If the product owner is seeing this comment then place replace me with new pan or refund me. ... show more

I own multiple pots from Le Creuset and I love all of them. This pan is no different. My first pancakes were a disaster because I don't need to read manuals. After reading about the pan and watching some YouTube videos, I began to understand the difference to my old pan. The pan cakes this pan makes are thin and crispy, much better than the old pan.
