Description

Designed to function efficiently on a full range of heat sources, enamel on steel stockpots are not only resistant to wear and damage, but also versatile enough for any type of stovetop, old or new. Their high-profile design limits evaporation while forcing liquids to bubble through all layers of ingredients, infusing the entire dish with flavor during cooking. Le Creuset enamel on steel stockpots are finished in the same bold palette of signature colors as Le Creuset enameled cast iron, making them perfectly stylish complements to any combination of cookware.

  • A wonderful gift!
Size: 10 Quart Color: Marseille
Got this as a Christmas gift for my mother - she loves it! High quality and high capacity - we can make ham bone soup in this, easily. The color is cute, too!

  • I treasure it.
Size: 10 Quart Color: Caribbean
Very elegant looking . Can't believe humans are able to do such a perfect, pleasure to use , healthy pot to keep chemicals away. Careful with washing. I'm very much aware, this wonder type of pot chips if gets hit. Praises to those who made it!

  • Love this pot, even though enamel chipped during a move
I wanted a sturdy, enameled 10-qt stock pot for broth and stock making--didn't like the idea of doing a 24+-hour simmer in a stainless steel pot due to possible leaching. I love my Le Creuset enameled iron cookware--I'm still using a couple of pieces from 1978! That enamel has held up to some serious cooking (and occasional scorched, burned-on messes). But the iron dutch ovens are too wide and shallow for my needs. So I was happy to find this pot a couple of years ago. It's sturdy, feels heavy-duty (though not like iron, of course), and served me well until a recent cross-country move, when it apparently got banged on an outside bottom corner (I had a criminally negligent moving company, but that's another story), which chipped enamel off of that corner but also caused a chunk of enamel to chip off of the interior at the same spot. Bummer. But I can't blame the pot or Le Creuset. Given how many of my items were damaged and broken during the move and the fact that the movers even chipped some exterior enamel off of one of my LC iron dutch ovens, it's says something about this stock pot that it only suffered a chip and wasn't seriously dented. But I can't use the pot with exposed, corroding steel on the interior, so I'm here to get me another one. That's how perfect this pot is for my needs. ... show more

  • Beautiful Pot, FAST shipping
SUPER fast shipping from seller. Well boxed. Pot was in original "store" box, within another larger box, surrounded by large plastic 'pillows'. Pot is in perfect condition. No chips or scratches. Color is vibrant and actually is somewhat ombre. Goes from darker to lighter as it rides up the pot. Actually very pretty and professional looking. You can see the coloring better if you look at the photo that has the pot on the stove. That is the TRUE coloring, but a bit more red, not rust colored. And NOT dull colored. But also not the bright cherry red in the single pot photo. Heavy for it's size and the lid fits well. Knob seems secure. Inside the pot is 'clean' and nice. No scratches or blobs or mars. Haven't cooked with it yet because it's actually for my daughter's first dorm/apartment. But she appreciates the fact that this is a nice pot, made by a good company that she will probably keep many years. Not some cheapo aluminum dorm pot. Note though that this is not a big pot for boiling pasta or making soup for a large family. Perfect for people who cook for themselves only, or for a few people. Perfect. Love it. Want one for myself. Decent price for LeCreuset. ... show more

  • LeCreuset Stock Pot
LeCreuset is the brand I own and enjoy using every day. I have their pans, pots and bakeware. This stock pot is just another example of their dedication to producing a quality product.

  • Worth the trouble
I ordered this stock pot to cook pasta and soup because of the Le Creuset name and the fact that the color matched my Le Creuset oval dutch oven. I was so thrilled when it arrived, just beautiful and seemed to be just what I needed. Then I noticed that the interior rim of the lid had a large defect where it had been flattened, causing it to separate from the lid and making it wobble noticeably. I submitted a request for a replacement, printed the online return labels, boxed it up and sent it back. Within three days, the original had been received by Amazon and I had my new pot, in perfect condition. Have not yet had a chance to cook in it, but love the look, love the weight (considerably lighter than the enameled cast iron but nice and heavy.) Really looking forward to using this lovely stock pot. ... show more

  • Not a happy cook
Hmm. I know they can do clever things with steel these days, but this pot seems just like aluminium - it dents when you tap a wooden spoon on the side, and it's very, very lightweight. The handle on the lid is not the typical, heavy Le Creuset handle, but a cheap plastic one that I keep having to screw back on. And the enamel has scratched all over, leaving a weird grey-brown staining when you cook anything acidic, like tomatoes. I bought this a year ago, mainly to cook pasta, and to be fair, it does the job. But for soups and stews, it seems to leave a funny taste, and the pot is always stained that strange colour. Granted, when I got mine, it was a bargain at $39.99, but maybe some bargains are too good to be true. After all this time, I decided to share what I thought; many manufacturers can't be bothered to make good products any more so I just assumed this company had done the same. But as time went by, I wondered whether I had received what I thought I had bought. If this is a genuine Le Creuset stockpot, they should be ashamed of themselves. I'm getting rid of mine and buying something else. ... show more
