  • I’m impressed
Style: Collection Bag
rarely leave reviews, as I usually find them to be a waste of time that few people actually read. That said, I’m genuinely impressed with this branch shredder—especially given its very reasonable price and surprisingly compact design. It handles small branches with ease, reliably shredding material up to just under 2 inches in diameter. Anything larger tends to jam, but for the intended use of smaller yard debris, it performs exceptionally well. Overall, I’m very pleased with its performance and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient, affordable option for light-to-moderate shredding needs. ... show more

  • Worth It!
Style: Collection Bag
This was a great purchase! I read several reviews before landing on this one. It functions just as advertised and is easy to use. It seems to be made of high quality material on the inside while keeping the “frills” on the outside to a minimum. It handles branches easily and safely. I never felt like I was in danger while using it. I like that I can roll it around to different parts of the yard (I have a long extension cord) where I have branch piles. The little bag catches all that it needs to and is good for transporting the chips where I want them. Overall, I would recommend this chipper! ... show more

  • Compared to previous chipper
Style: Collection Bag
I finished the the entire maple tree and an oak branch cut and dropped by electric company, had to flip blades half way through. Did a great job. There is more shredding then chips when blade gets dull. I gave it a 4 instead of 5⭐️ review only because of the wheelbase not being wide enough. I didn’t have a problem while chipping, but pulling the thing in and out of the garage over to the location every day, if didn’t use two hands it flopped on its side, the handle also not as wide. I was worried about the bag connection plastic brackets, as they seemed sincere than the previous model I showed, but it held up great. I would buy it again. Assembly was quick and easy ... show more

  • Great tool for backyard garden
Style: Collection Bag
I’m a backyard gardener with a food forest. Instead of trimming my trees and throwing it out with the trash, I recycle it back into the garden. I was doing all this manually until I bought this product. If you could be in love with a tool, I’m in love with this tool. You can take branches off the tree. Feed it right through the chipper and have mulch to put right back into your garden. This is not a commercial wood chipper where you can put a big tree branch and you can put tree branches in up to just under 2 inches. It will suck the entire branch into the machine and spit it out as mulch. Yes, it does take time to feed the branches into the machine one by one. But it also takes time to feed those branches one by one into a garbage bag and pull them out to the curb. I seriously do not mind feeding the machine. Every once in a while the machine will jam and need to be cleaned out which is extremely easy. I have zero complaints about this purchase. Now I’ve got a shop for another one that will take big bags of leaves and also turn it into mulch. This machine will mulch leaves but the opening isn’t very big so it’s not something that you can just pour a big bag of leaves into. Since my recent tree limbs are green with leaves it will make great compost. Let me point out to that mulch being produced in your own garden is a lot less hauling around than having to go out and buy mulch and bring it in. I also know that my trees are organic and that I haven’t treated my mulch with chemicals that could harm my garden. I can’t say enough good things about this product. While I haven’t had it very long yet. I am just thrilled by what I’ve seen it do so far.. I purchased this for the low price point and it did not disappoint. ... show more

  • Great product for home composters
Style: Collection Bag
Big fan of this thing. You’re getting what is advertised. This ain’t to chip but pieces of wood, it’s not for massive trees. If you like to compost though and have a ton of vines it works really well. I have a pretty big garden and like to compost. Have a ton of crepe Myrtle’s, wisteria vines, grape vines and big purple butterfly bush. It shreds them all just fine, I use it to shred compost inputs too. Kale and broccoli stalks, cosmo stems ect, works really well, this is year two of the product. I have swapped the blades one time but I would absolutely buy again and am very happy with the product. ... show more

  • Works for twigs.
Style: Collection Bag
I've only used it 3 times so far, but I'm happy with it! It isn't made to mulch branches or green leaves, but handles larger twigs just fine. It did get jammed but I had zero issues cleaning it out. Btw, I'm a petite woman so I appreciate the lightweight and compact version of a mulcher.

  • Great little chipper!
Style: Collection Bag
I was actually pretty impressed with this chipper. Granted, it's for light duty tasks, but it really does do a great job chewing through my seemingly endless supply of small branches. Sure, sometimes it doesn't self-feed so well (oh no, I have to put light pressure on the branch) and it'll occasionally jam (usually when turning it on when there's still leftovers from a previous branch) but it does get the job done, and clearing a jam is a quick and easy affair. It's a little tippy when rolling it around but otherwise it's stable and seems to be made of a durable type of plastic. I picked up an extra set of blades so I don't get slowed down by dull blades when I'm processing a lot of branches but the included blades do seem to keep their edges well. I was thoroughly prepared to be underwhelmed by this guy but I'm pleasantly surprised at how useful it actually is -- no gas, hydraulics or anything like that, just plug it in and go. ... show more

  • Workhorse
Style: Collection Bag
I love this little workhorse. I chose the Lawnmaster because it has a side slot where a branch with a twig sticking out of it can be chipped without cutting the twig off. I've been using this machine since July 2025 chipping hardwood like maple and red cedar. I wanted it initially to chip the long whips from my red cedars and the twigs and branches constantly falling off my cottonwoods onto my driveway. I live in the woods where all my trees are 120'+. The chipper does a great job chipping dry wood, but shredded the long whips from my cedars. In an attempt to solve the whip problem, I gathered a whole bunch together, perhaps doubling the bunch in half and shoving it into the hopper. Doing it that way did a better job, but it still shredded some of the whips. I also shoved leaves into the hopper, which only chopped the leaves into large pieces. Not worth the effort. A couple of times I've had to open up the cover to untangle a whip that twirled itself around the blade, but that's all I've had to do for maintenance. I've shoved in newly cut wood too. Sometimes the bark of newly cut wood shredded. That's why dry wood is better. It didn't do the job initially intended, but I'm super happy with the way it chips wood. I'm an 80 year woman and, overall, I'm impressed with this simple piece of machinery that works every time I press the "on" button. ... show more
