Why did you pick this product vs others?: So I have ordered and returned countless capris because of poor fit. Endless orders and returns. Thank God for Amazon. North Face wasn’t a label that had popped up in my Amazon search’s for the type of capris I was searching for. I found North Face on my own Google search. So then I did a search on Amazon for it, and yay this Capris popped up. I’m very familiar with North Face. Excellent quality. These capris don’t disappoint. I was so happy for the fit, I ordered another color right away. They came the next day. For reference I am 5’7” and 110 lbs. and I am 75 ! I also have degenerative back issues that have changed my body with how bottoms fit. Hence the endless ordering and returning. That said these North Face capris are exactly perfectly fitting me. I ordered a small. The rise is just below my navel and has a very soft fabric elastic waistband. VERY soft. So many others I returned had tight uncomfortable elastic waistbands. Not these. The leg length is 22” and they have a stretchy band to bring in the bottoms and raise the length, although my height is perfect for these capris. The legs have a flattering shirring so they give a soft look, and on me as I’m so thin, they five my legs a nice look. I love them. The material of these North Face Capris is the most comfortable and soft as can be. They are so easy to wear, they feel wonderful, and now Summertime in Reno, NV they are perfect capris. These are so comfortable. I would wear them every day if they were suitable for the office. The pants are lightweight and I like that they are quick drying and have nice, deep pockets. This capri is my go to capri for traveling . They are light weight and comfortable, but not a lot of extra room in the back. I find they could be a little more roomy in that area. I do love these though. They are easy wear, doesn't get super wrinkly, and they dry quickly. I recommend for long trips in the car, hiking walks, etc. I feel they do well for me in hotter weather because they dry quickly. I typically order a size medium but go large for extra room. I'm short and the medium is perfect capri length for me. I received the black as a gift but own many colors in these. They have nice pockets.
