Absolutely PERFECT addition to the shop and it has plenty of features to get just about anything resolved that'd you're needing fixed! (Every adapter cable you'll ever need is included it seems!) Within an hour of it arriving, I had already reprogrammed/coded a new ECU into an '06 Nissan 5.6L SUV. The "full-system scan" found way more than even my higher end OBD scan tools displayed which is great, never know what you're not seeing with using the cheaper scanners and I ain't going to rely on them anymore. *The seller sent me the "Launch Videoscope" additional tool for free as well after simply mentioning it in an email!* =D -I am however disappointed in the "technical support" chat system...it's been days and I've yet to receive a response so good luck on that part. *Not the seller's fault of course, still disheartening since that feature would be nice to use.* I do wish I had the GIII PRO-3 tool and the TPMS Gun tool, they'd definitely come in handy, perhaps a later order will be needed I suppose. Seriously...Just buy it, you know you want to. Don't be like me and debate it for a while, get her and make your life easier!! =) ... show more

Preety good price point but lacking when it comes to some of the functions that other Diagnostics tools have access to such as the AUTEL Bi-Directional Scanners. This tool was not able to perform a Forced Regen on a 2012 Hino 268 (July 29th, 2023) which is needless to say ridiculous!! I navigated through all of the menus and functions to find that the DPR/DPF Regen function isn't present within the HINO diagnostic software of this Launch Scanner. ... show more

I can watch live data and buzz injectors on Cummins and Detroit . I was able to force a regen in a Kenworth T680 Paccar MX-13. When it comes to dealer level diagnostics, accept no substitutes. This LAUNCH X431 PRO3S+ hdiii scan tool will do what you want it to do: Dealer level functionality on virtually anything you run across. From reading and troubleshooting codes to performing forced regenerations and injector cut-out tests, the LAUNCH is the tool for the job. Here is just a partial list I have used ,and it works Great ! Cylinder cut-out tests Forced regens of DPF systems DPF Stationary Regeneration Aftertreatment Reset for EPA 2007 & 2010 MaxxForce 11/13 EGR valve tests Fuel Injector Calibration VGT Actuator Installation & Calibration Change engine parameters (Max road speed, cruise control, idle shut-off, etc...)
