We added a TV to our "family cave" this weekend and I ordered this to hang up our new LG 65" QNED TV. I must say I was quite impressed with the sturdiness of it and it came with an easy-to-use template. The only assembly needed was 4 screws (came with plenty of sizes to choose from) to secure the brackets to the TV, and 4 mounting screws to secure it to the wall. Just make sure your studs are on 16" centers or you'll need to open the wall to add a 2x12 mounting plate. (Most houses have studs on 16" centers but some may not). I used the included template to pencil out my screw holes and made sure it was level, then used the provided lag bolts to screw it into the studs. After hanging the TV on the bracket (a breeze with 2 people), I tightened the screws on the back to secure it in place. I would recommend adjusting the "tilt" prior to installing the TV, the screws for that may be hard to get to once the TV is installed. I guessed at the angle on mine and it turned out to be perfect. The TV can be easily pulled out from the wall and move side-to-side and it feels quite sturdy. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a compact bracket for a larger TV screen.

This mount is great and easy to install. Once connected to TV its like hanging a picture. Only suggestion I have. The nail alone don't hold the bracket that tight to wall and lifting it off off the wall may pull the bracket with it I suggest alien tape the bracket to the wall when you nail it on. It helps if you need to take the tv down then the bracket doesn't pull

I used this to install a 75” TV above the fireplace, on drywall without hitting studs. The TV did pull away from the wall slightly, so I added anchors in addition to the nails. Seems to be ok now. For a TV this size, even though it’s within the size and weight limits, I would probably go with a traditional bracket mount. Pros: Super Easy Install. It comes with a template that is idiot proof. Cheaper than a bracket mount The TV is snug against the wall like a picture frame - the mount makes my TV look like artwork. Cons: I don’t feel like it’s as secure as my other flat screens mounted on brackets. It pulled away from the wall, so I remounted with wall anchors.i still check it almost daily. It’s also harder to access the rear of the TV. I needed to make a change with a HDMI cable, which required taking the TV off the wall. I think I would use this mount all day, every day for small to mid-size TVs I’m sure it’s safe for larger TVs, but I would feel safer installing a 70”+ TV on a bracket.
