Update: after the company saw my review they contacted me through Amazon and were grateful for the updates I made; for it will help them towards making the coop better. Great customer service and support experience! It is a pretty good coop; better if you spend a little bit more to make it better. It was easy to put together by myself- took a few weekends. The ground stakes are not that long; I went to HD and purchased 10 inch long metal U ground stakes in the garden department. I purchased 1/2 inch hardware cloth (Amazon has it the cheapest) for the walls and used the 1 inch that came with the coop for the roof - flimsy chicken wire comes with the coop for the roof. You will have to double up and extend the door wire after you do the first cover and cut because it is too flimsy and has gaps that a rat will easily walk through and a fox or raccoon will be able to push through. To keep anything thing from pushing through the door I have mine open to the outside (pull not push to open). Also I used stainless steel zip ties instead of the plastic ones that came with coop which will dry out and snap in Colorado by the time summer is over. I am using the tarps but will be replacing them before winter- very thin and will rip easily (mine snagged slightly as I was putting them over the top). I will go with a sturdy greenhouse cover because I need walls that I can roll up and down for the winter and hail. I have the 1/2 inch hardware cloth running to the ground because it will leave gaps at the bottom (and under the ground as well). Last thing drill holes for drainage at each leg post and bottom post of doors- they collect water and start to rust quickly- found this out when I had to remove the door frame to move living quarters into this main coop. And yes I painted mine. And large rock will going around the base for extra closure of the gap at the bottom.

Great size and easy to assemble. Took a little longer than directions say although it was my fault. Make sure to use zip ties on the bottom of the fencing or have something up against the bottom. Although they can't escape there is a chance of something getting in. The one complaint I have is I wish the door would have a brace in the middle to stabilize better or come with something to make it more stable. Overall very pleased with it as well as my chickens.

We bought this to add a chicken run/play yard to our existing chicken coop. We feel the frame was worth what we paid for it. The tarp was useless and the hardware cloth is very weak compared to hardware cloth we purchased from the hardware store. Contrary to some reviews, there was plenty of hardware cloth to cover, but we measured, cut the pieces and mocked them up with the plastic wire ties and when we were sure the wire was how we wanted it, we used metal wire-ties and the tool that came with them. The metal wire-ties made the coop frame much sturdier and will last far longer than the plastic ones.

Like a lot of other customers, I was very disappointed with the quality of the "upgraded hardware cloth" I ordered and paid extra for, it fell apart just trying to zip tie it on.. That being said, the frame is great and easy to set up. It would be great if the company would sell the frame separately. I had to order a roll of real hardware cloth so I opted for a 19 gauge 1/2" poly coated. It is much sturdier and will actually protect my animals. Over all I really do like the frame, size, height, and strength are very good for the price. If your going to buy this coop, just know your buying the frame and will need to "upgrade" it yourself. And Amazon does have the best price on real hardware cloth.

At first, I was a little concerned with the durability of the wire that comes with it. It’s been a year and the wire look great and has held up fine so far. The tarp has held up well. No fading what so ever. My chickens love it. It’s used as a run for eight chickens and they love it. Also, it’s easy to connect to a Chicken coop with a few adjustments. It’s very spacious and the frame alone makes it worth every penny. We always intended to replace the wire with hardware cloth but haven’t needed it yet. The frame will hold up for a very long time. Pay attention to the pieces when putting together as some are similar. Would purchase again and highly recommend.

Got this February 4 2026 it’s now march 22 and the quality of the tarps and the galvanized hardware fence is poor already seeing rust on the fence and tears in the tarps not even 2 months up the frame is good it was easy to assemble just not the quality I expected being I’d bought a different brand a couple years ago frame was the same but fence and tarp are still holding up if it wasn’t such a pain to put together I’d probably would have returned it.

Garbage! Wire broke while setting up & after! Wire rusted within a month! Poles bent on door, leaving a huge gap. I even paid extra for the 'Heavy Duty'. Not any stronger, maybe less, than the chicken wire one!! Don't buy this. After going through Amazon for 1 1/2 months, I was directed to the company who sold it. It took a couple weeks and sending photos, the company & I came to a resolution. Within a week, the company had fulfilled the agreement. The company stated they would look at issues & fix.
